I feel like I'm the only one who can't find a Wii Fit.

I mostly want it because my girlfriend inquired about it, and what baby wants, baby gets - especially if it concerns geek stuff like videogames or dvds...

So what is everybody doing? I'm doing about 30-35 minutes every other day.

I'm thinking I might need to up the ante.

Don't worry, I'll be back on (or off?) the wagon once I get tired of Wii Fit, which according to my Wii Calculator, will be in about 4-6 weeks.

I'm only in my 5th or 6th day but I am doing 10-30 minutes usually. But then I go to the gym 4-6 times a week for an hour a day.

I can only do some of the yoga ones correctly because I have this set up in my basement and my arms will hit the ceiling.

LOL... my legs were touching the sofa when doing push up and i couldn't put the balance board any closer to the TV (i can't see the pictures, unless i'm MR. Fantastic or Plastic Man).

What about sideways, so you're parallel to the TV screen?

BTW, the "triceps" extension was the stupidest exercise I've done yet. It's (arguably) correctly done but the idea that the trainer tells you about "feel your triceps getting toned" from just moving your arm around is ridiculous.

There aren't really any Wal-Marts near me, but I'll check it out. Target has a locater too, but like you said it ended up inaccurate for my friend. Ah well. I'll just wait and keep my eyes open. Not a huge rush since it's mostly for my gf anyway.

Wii Fit was featured in the Circuit City ad today, so I decided to run out there before they opened. When I got there, there was maybe 6 or 7 people waiting to get in They opened the doors, and as I came in there was a table containing Wii Fit and accessories, and the person in front of me grabbed the last one. I asked where the other units were, and they said "We only had 5 available, and now they are all gone."

I just unlocked my last Yoga pose, and there is no way in hell I'll ever be able to achieve anything close to that. The last three or four yoga poses do not use the balance board at all, so they are easy to cheat, if you are into that type of thing (I'm not)

So are there any sites where people post their high scores? I'd like to check out where I rank on some of these activities.

And I still can't figure out that sky jump. I swear I do the exact same thing, and I can get between 80M to 140M. What is the best process for it?

For the ski jump, I started doing much better once I figured out to keep the dot in the upper-right hand corner perfectly aligned while you are going down the hill (by adjusting your balance). It really speeds you up, I think my highest score was around 280M.

I have a combined 363m for my record on the jump.
Keep the red dot inside the blue dot while going down the ramp. Wait as long as you can and 'pop' your knees. Keep you eye on the wii board diagram and keep your balance dead center while flying through the air.
I can get around 170 - 185m, but putting 2 in a row together is hard sometimes.

When you say dead center, do you mean just stand up straight, or try to center it when leaning forward?

I can usually hit the blue dot flying down the course, but when it comes to after the jump, I have no idea what I am supposed to do. I've been leaning ahead trying to eek out a couple of more meters, so I guess that is not correct (hence the question above)?

When the time comes to extend your knees, hold your balance for as long as possible. When you lose your balance you will land. The longer the hold (and the faster your speed going down the hill), the longer your jump will be.

wait, you can put the board sideways? it doesn't need to be face to face with the motion bar? i didn't know that...

Yup. You eventually unlock a snowboard balance game where you will need to move the board perpendicular to the TV.

For the strength and yoga exercises, the board can be in any position/configuration.

I seem to fly further in the air if I put my balance in the cross hairs of the balance board map on the right side of the screen.

Is there a way to see what all of your high scores are all together, like some kind of report? I don't think so, so if not, is there a site that lists all of the activities that you can print off maybe? I know a few people that would like to compare high scores, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do it. Even if there is something to print off, I think that you'd have to go in and do each event to get your scores.

As for the ski jump, I still can't figure it out. I had one outstanding jump of over 170M I think, and landed over the further dotted line, and then my next jump was only 80M, so I didn't even set a record.

Question regarding silicone board covers...

My Wii Fit is getting pretty dirty from footprints.
Occasionally I need to scrub away at it with a baby wipe to clean it off.

Has anyone tried any of the gazillion silicone covers that are out there?
I was thinking of getting one to help avoid this issue.

That was until I read some negative reviews saying that the cover was causing incorrect weight readings during the daily body test, so now I am reconsidering it.

Does anyone have one of these board covers, and does it seem to effect the weight results?
Do you have the extension feet on the board, with the cover?

Thanks
