They seem to be a lot more strict on coupons lately, which is why I'm not counting on this working.

score! called the GameStop right near my work and they had 2 left. I jumped in my car and got there in time, as another lady was right behind me. Whew!

I have ultra thick carpet where my Wii is.
Earlier in the thread, it was mentioned that the board won't work properly if on carpet. It is supposed to come with legs. I just want to make sure it works properly.

I want on but I want to shed a few pounds this summer before I climb onto one.
People were buying it up like crazy at the local Target, unfortunately a bunch going to scalpers (hey, it's right next to the toy section so they can go pillage both at the same time...) or people needing multiple copies.
I did buy the mat, thinking it was some Nintendo accessory, but I'll probably return it later.

The box says the limit is 330 lbs.
You'll be fine.
But be ready to be told you're "Obese".

I'm gonna stop by the store on my way home just because if I don't someone will tell me they got one at like 6 P.M. at the same place I decided not to go to. But since I'm going they won't have one, which is fine. I'll get it eventually.

I wasn't going to get in on release but all this talk about it actually being fun may just be the motivation I need to start working out..
Gonna be hard to swing another $100 since I just bought a new camcorder but we'll see what the wife says..
That is, even if it's available to get anywhere which most likely, it won't be.

I managed to snag one at Circuit City at lunch (Jantzen Beach, for you Portlanders). I tried Target first, but no luck there. They probably had 8 or 10.
Edit: circuitcity.com actually shows stock at both Jantzen Beach and Clackamas.

Got one at lunch time at the local BB. They had a bunch in stock (at least a dozen or more in 2 different locations). They also had Wiis in stock (only my second time seeing Wiis in the wild).

I just got back from WalMart on my break at work. They had a pile of them in the electronics department, so I went ahead and bought one. I'll take it home, take the board out and look at it and that sort of thing just to see it up close. I'll also keep my eye on feedback from people for the next day or so, and I'll also keep my eye on eBay prices just in case they go back up.
I didn't buy it to eBay it though. I have a slight interest in it, so if the feedback is pretty solid, and the eBay prices don't stay up at least a bit, I'll keep it for myself. I'd rather go ahead and have one instead of waiting while I wait for feedback and then when I finally do decide that I want one, I can't find it.
For the record, everywhere around here sold out as far as I know, except this one WalMart I went to. They had a pile of them, literally. I'd say they had at least 20-25 or so, if not more.
Does it keep track of your weight day-to-day, or just the BMI number?

And for the record, the workout starts as soon as you go to the store and pick this thing up. I'm not saying that it's "too heavy" or anything, that's obviously not the case, but its way heavier and sturdier than I thought it was going to be.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere that Nintendo thought about this, after seeing Sumo wrestler scales.
