So why did the OP list it as "Trouble in Paradise"?

It's just a day MS reveals a bunch of games every year.

Because the full title of the game is "Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise".

Odd question, but not that I recall.

There is an option in the menus to turn them on, if I recall correctly.

Random notes grabbed from various sources.

Banjo 3's title is Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
You create your own vehicles from 1,600 different parts.

Fable 2 is 20-40 times larger than Fable 1 (yeah, sure).
A sex mini-game planned but removed, now you just "hear it" over a black screen.
The option to create a female character almost didn't make it. Ugh, idiots.

Viva Piņata 242 uses the vision camera to scan in trading cards for new Piņatas.
It also has drop-in, drop-out Co-Op mode.

Ninja Blade is an upcoming action game from From Software (possibly from the Otogi creator).

Lips is apparently an accessory involving voice, though not fully revealed yet.

No Alan Wake in 2008.

Interesting. Seems to be a big departure from the earlier games.

I played through the first one, and it was a colossal disappointment. I'm approaching this one tentatively.

Boo!
It also has drop-in, drop-out Co-Op mode.
Yay!

I loved the first one.

Of course, I didn't immerse myself in the hype and buildup which seems to be what bothered people the most.

Actually, the stuff in the villages (getting married, buying houses, etc) was fine. It was the gameplay elements outside of town that I didn't like. Everything was essentially a narrow corridor that you fought through in a linear fashion. Very boring.

Would you like me to use the camera something more sinister?

Assuming Fable 2 360 version is like the PC, PC Gamer magazine is reporting that you have to have a gd job to earn money BEFORE you can go on a quest. If that's true, I'm OUT!

I already have a job and I don't want to work in my game!!

After being let down on Black & White and then the first Fable i will honestly believe nothing that comes out of that man's mouth.

The first Fable was ok - it was just super simplistic and the good/evil choices were even more simplistic than Knights of the Old Republic.

I can't check Joystiq or Kotaku here at work. Anyone know when the Microsoft Gamer's Day news is supposed to start showing up?

Cool. Looking forward to these Megaton announcements.

By the way, is there an inside joke with "Viva Piņata 242"?

Not that I'm aware of. I haven't even played any of the VP games.
