Here is mine, brand-new to Smash Bros.

Everytime I try to connect to a random match.
I make it to the sand bag screen and then after a fre moments I get the following error message:

Disconnected from network during transmission.
Error Code: 85010


Anyone else seeing this?

Have not tried online play with a friend code yet.

I spectated 3 matches, then played 1. After that I've been getting the same error you have.

I'm guessing the servers are getting hammered as players go online. I actually played a few games with 4 combatants late last night (early this morning, blasted DST).

Yeah I suspect they are going to really need to expand their servers. Hopefully this'll happen soon! I'm surprised they didn't do this already though, with the HUGE numbers of expected sales for this game.

Trying to join a game with redbill now and I keep getting:

I suck royally at the game so far so but look forward to trying it online.
I went ahead and added Jamez, redbill, JChaos, Brett, Ringo20000, GizmoDVD, runner001 and SmackDaddy.

Managed to play in a few random online matches fairly late tonight. I'll get my code and add others tomorrow night. I Can't believe they didn't just carry over the data from your pre-existing friends on the Wii - Nintendo definitely fails at easy online multiplayer.
