Normal playing (on easy). We don't go nuts or anything, but...it is a DRUM set. Will EA replace it?

There's something I just have to say
I don't think I can hide what I'm feelin' inside
Another day, knowin' I love you
And I, I'm getting too close again
I don't want to see it end
If I tell you tonight will you turn out the light
And walk away knowin' I love you?

I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize, Oh Sherry
I'm gonna tell you right away,
I can't wait another day, Oh Sherry
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand, Oh Sherry
I love you

And I feel like today's the day
Lookin' for the words to say
Do you wanna be free, are you ready for me
To feel this way
I don't wanna lose you
So, it may be too soon, I know
The feeling takes so long to grow
If I tell you today will you turn me away
And let me go?
I don't wanna lose you

I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize, Oh Sherry
I'm gonna tell you right away,
I can't wait another day, Oh Sherry
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand, Oh Sherry
Oh girl

You and I
I know that we can wait
And I swear, I swear it's not a lie girl
Tomorrow may be too late
You, you and I girl
We can share a life together
It's now or never
And tomorrow may be too late

And, feelin' the way I do
I don't wanna wait my whole life through
To say I'm in love with you

The warranty replacement process is pretty easy. It does not cover damage caused by abuse, but given all the problems people have been having with the various instruments you'll probably be okay.

Emailed last night. Talked to phone rep. today. They said "It's rare, but it has happened." They are sending a replacement box out with no further questions asked. Really happy with my service, but I'm betting it's more widespread than they say.

Due to work Sony is doing on their store they won't be adding new material for a couple weeks so this won't release on PlayStation Store this week. When they go back up with new material in a few weeks, though, it will be there lovingly waiting for you. For free. I'll post something up here when it is available on that platform.

It will be available on Xbox360 on April 1st.
Great to get this finally and for free! Still, I find myself disappointed there's only one song. Oh well, it's free!

Nothing for me this week.

(Ok, not really. I'll get it, even though I've never played Portal.)

Had a great session last night. I ended up being the leader on drums, which I normally hate because I don't use a mic because it creates massive feedback, and started with 3 but one dude dropped early. So it was just me and another guy but we both had a bunch of DLC which was really nice. We played about 5-6 songs all DLC with Welcome Home as an encore, and he was like "Thanks for playing something different! Everyone picks the same shit all the time."

It was a blast - we frickin' owned Sex Type Thing, I swear we must've been close to gold stars because we 5-starred it really early.

And I'm indifferent to the DLC this week - but the price is right

I have never played with randoms online. What is the "same shit" that people always choose? I'm assuming they are base songs versus DLC.

Finally took some time to diagnose my drums. As recommended I did Won't Get Fooled Again on Expert/50% Speed. I did each section numerous times (with and without my new drum pads) and it appears I have red and yellow problems.

As mentioned, GG&HT, Metallica, I've never seen the Who picked though. I also end up with people who always pick the Killers, Garbage, etc.

We played:

10 Speed
Sex Type Thing
Beethoven's C***
Rock Rebellion (I love this song for some reason)
Welcome Home

This was Band Quickplay. When you go versus the songs are randomly chosen by the CPU, not by a player.

I played Shag and some of his friends and all they wanted to play was old-guy metal.

Wasn't that when the game first came out? Actually, it was just me in there. I don't even think I was the leader. I'm into metal, but it's not the only thing I want to play. I'll play anything as long as the song is fun (on any instrument) or gives a challenge.

I recently just bought a PS3 to watch BD movies. My friends have RockBand and they all loved it alot. I wanted to buy it too, but I'd heard that there were drum and guitar problems. Do you guys know if the problems were resolved?

I also have a 360 as well. Does RB also have hardware problems on this console as well?

Thanks!

I've yet to do the quickplay thing online without clan-mates. If i want to just sing is it going to be rough for me to find a game?

edit: My wife and i normally play the game but time has been short lately - that is why i'm asking all these questions about the online portion of the game. I'm looking to get in some karaoke when i have the free time.

Should be easy - I never have a problem playing drums and getting a group together with quickplay. And singer's tend to be the least readily available in my experience so chances are you'll get in super easy.

I would suggest getting the 360 version, if only because the Guitar Hero guitars are compatible with it. Only RockBand guitars work on the PS3 version.

I do it to learn the songs. From time to time, you get a fun bunch of people. Other times, it's "Enter Sandman" again!?!?!?!
