LOST IN TIME - vintage game - any info?
This looks like it may have been the Granddaddy of the Adventure Games by Sierra-on-line ..
LOST IN TIME I was out yard saleing in Muskoka this summer in a rented car with an old girlfriend - looking to impress her I stopped at this absolute JUNK STORE by the side of Highway 11 and we browsed low and behold I found a real treasure in a crate of old bottles. The guy said to me give me ten bucks and you can have the whole crate... And I said no. because neither the crate nor the bottles are worth anything - Just the game, and he said 'take it' its yours and I thought how silly of him as I would have paid five bucks for the game... anyway its a game called Lost in Time - before you were born he was plotting your doom... http://roberrific.typepad.com/photos...n_time_box.jpg And it has really old crummy graphics on the front of a cute girl and a portal behind her containing all manner of male villains.. the screen captures on the back are absolutely primitive! I mean it looks like Commodore Basic on the back – and I have everything, all twelve 3.5 inch disk, a boot and faq manual and game sheets. http://roberrific.typepad.com/photos...quirements.jpg Does anyone on here remember this game? Wha's it like and how much money do you think its worth today? |

It actually isn't THAT old, around 15 years (considering Sierra's first graphical adventure came out in 1982, 26 years now). But nice find :)

I still have this sitting on my bookshelf, my oldest game:
