I received an email today from the PlayStation Underground site. It states that the Secret Agent Clank demo should be in the PS Store for download now or soon.

That is one game I am looking forward to. The Ratchet & Clank games are always fun and entertaining.

The Clank levels were the only things I didn't like about R&C: Future.

It was up yesterday. I don't know how to DL a PSP demo on the PS3.

If you're interested in the game (and Lord knows I am, if you preorder it from Game Stop, you can get a Clank figure when you pick it up. I was all over this offer. I love Clank. Seriously, I'd marry him if I could.

I'll have to look into the gamestop pre-order.

When I downloaded it today, it said to connect a usb cable from the ps3 to the psp to transfer it from the ps3 to the psp.

Transfered the demo from my ps3 to psp via usb connection.

I played the demo today. Interesting.

It has little mini games for certain moves and a rhythm game for other sequences.

Still, I had fun playing it and look forward to its full release.

Uh, yes that's correct. Sony should work on making other great games which I'm sure their capable of doing. I suppose not everyone who owns a PS3 also owns a 360 so I suppose there should be some FPS games. But it's not a genre that Sony should be pooling resources for.

I prefer FPS on the 360's contoller, but it's hardly a deal breaker. Anyone who tried Resistance would tell you the controller works just fine.

So I finally decided to play my copy of Resistance and is everyone serious when they say it's good? It's super boring, everything is brown, the graphics and controls are pretty bad, and there is not any health packs anywhere. I finally gave up after playing the same checkpoint about 7 times in a row. I fell horrible having recommended this game for the past year to PS3 customers.

No health packs???? They're everywhere. The little yellow flasks are health power ups. Resistance was a pretty good game IMO, not groundbreaking great but a good FPS. When it came out, there was no Halo 3 or COD4 so it was pretty good for a launch title with nothing better to compare it to.

On the other hand Resistance 2 looks like it may be pretty damned good!

I thought the multiplayer was decent, the single player campaign isn't good. It was the first game I rented on my PS3, and I was horribly unwelmed by it - extremely dated graphics, unimaginative levels, dull gameplay. Plus, the enemies just look silly.

Ugh...I'm sick of the PS3 updates taking so f-ing long....I don't see why they can't get this shit to work faster...

It takes friggin at least 5 minutes for a minor update....I'm a very impatient person dammit....

I agree.

It was a decent game for what it was. I enjoyed my playthrough. I am looking forward to its sequel.

Yep.

I always download the update on my PC, copy it to a thumbdrive, and do it that way. Fast(er) and easy.

Just got off the phone with TAC. They charged my CC the day I ordered, 5/02. I contacted them for a tracking number, as I'm used to being billed only after shipment. They said, "It will ship on the 15th.". So the 15th rolled around and I contacted them again to get my tracking number and was told, "Cyclones in Asia sir, nothing we can do about it. It will ship on the 20th.". So, of course, I call today and am told, "Cyclones in Asia sir. It will ship on the 27th.".

If it doesn't ship next Tuesday, I'm getting my money refunded until someone actually sees one of these things.

I never understood the hype for Haze. Didn't look like anything special or particularly good.

The hype was solely because it was a PS3 exclusive.

Not true. It's from the guys that did Timesplitters & Goldeneye. That still pulls a little weight.

Right, this is were the excitement was. I read through the IGN review and score aside it seems pretty clear on what he didn't like about the game. Sounds pretty uninspired and middling as FPS games goes. It is very surprising to me that this game was supposedly made from the beginning for the PS3, but suffers from all the issues that 360 ports suffer. It also sounds like they kind of wasted the premise of the drug angle. After reading through the review it sounds like a classic case of a game that needed more development. Army of 2 benefited from a delay and became more respectable. Sounds like this game should have gone back in the oven until they could polish the idea and make the graphics (something very important for a shooter) up to the standards of all the other FPS games this gen.

Gamespot gave it a 6.0 - This madly inconsistent shooter offsets a number of thrilling moments with terrible artificial intelligence and an awful story.
