Re: Burnout Paradise

Nice to see permanent price drops on DLC for an out of date game. I wish more companies did this.

Re: Burnout Paradise

If I still cared about trophies, the Party Pack is almost worth it now for the 7 giveaway trophies, 4 of which are silver.

Is there a break down for what most of that is? I just want the island and the pack with the Delorean and Ghostbusters car, I have no idea what that other shit is

I was trying to figure this out for myself earlier this year (for the 360, though), so I think the following is pretty much accurate:

The Legendary Car Pack is what you want. It contains the Jensen 88 Special (Delorean), the Spirit (ECTO-1), the Bootlegger (General Lee), and the Nighthawk (KITT).

Party Pack is a multiplayer mode.

All Toy Cars Pack contains all the toy car versions of the Cavalry, the Manhattan, the Citizen, the Takedown 4x4, the GT Concept, the Inferno Van, the Jansen P12, the Krieger WTR, and the Firehawk.

Big Surf Island is Big Surf Island and contains the Carson Dust Storm buggy, the Hunter Olympus "Governor" and the Carson Annihilator Street Rod, as well as toy versions of the four Legendary cars.

Cops & Robbers is a multiplayer mode.

Legendary Car Pack is mentioned above.

Special Boost Car Pack contains the Carson Extreme Hotrod and the Montgomery Hawker Mech.

Toy Car Collection 1 and 2 are redundant, as they contain all the toy cars in the Toy Car Pack for the same price--there's no reason to buy either of these if you have the Toy Car Pack.

Time Savers Pack - automatically unlocks all cars in the retail game.

Re: Burnout Paradise

The price drops are not quite as good as the sale a number of months back ... for $20 you received ALL of the DLC, and for $30 you could buy the FULL game with all the DLC.

Re: Burnout Paradise

Really tempted to get the $7.99 pack even though I still have the game on disc. Would have to play it all over again.

Believe it or not, the Knight Rider car is the one in that pack that gets the most love...arguably the best all-around car in the game...certainly the best handling under ridiculous boost.

Re: Burnout Paradise

You're a little late to the party, but yeah, phenomenal game. I really haven't bothered much with other driving games this generation just because BP is so good.

The Xbox 360 version of this is free today only in honor of Harold Ramis. Normally $5. @CriterionGames says "Working with Sony to make PS3 possible. Might only be in North America."

Re: Burnout Paradise

Nice.
I already have the complete version, but giving everyone a free pseudo-Ecto 1 is a nice tribute.

Re: Burnout Paradise

Quick bump, if you have Gold, the Xbox 360 (soon to be BC) copy is only going for $2.99 (4.49 for silvers). I have it on disc, but at that price, I can go digital and dump the disc elsewhere.

Re: Burnout Paradise

It shows you what kind of backlog I have, but I just started this game this week LOL. It's fun, but a little confusing...I think I prefer Revenge. By the way, Big Surf Island on Xbox 360/One is only $3.49 right now. The rest of the packs are normal price but if somebody hasn't played through the expansion, there you go

Burnout Paradise HD Remaster coming to PS4 on March 16 in Japan
https://gematsu.com/2018/01/burnout-...march-16-japan

Electronic Arts will release a Burnout Paradise HD Remaster (title tentative) for PlayStation 4 in Japan on March 16 for 4,104 yen.

The game is a high-definiton remaster of the 2008-launched PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC open-world racer.

In early December, rumors of a high-definiton Burnout Paradise remaster for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appeared on Brazilian blog GamePress, which cited listings for each version in a supplier database. The release date was listed as March 1.

That said, while only a PlayStation 4 version seems to be planned for Japan (physically, at least), it will more than likely launch for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the rest of the world.

Boo! Give me Burnout 3 (the best in the series), or give me death!

Also, Paradise was always in HD.
