Agree completely. Paradise looks great on the Xbox One due to BC. This seems kinda pointless. I much rather have Burnout 3 get remastered (or made backwards compatible).

I still remember when I picked up Burnout Revenge on 360 thinking games would NEVER look better than this :lol: I would love to go back to that game. Paradise on the other hand never clicked with me and I never went back to it. That was before the patches though when you couldn't restart the race and had to drive all the way back to the beginning to start it again.

I love Burnout:Paradise and I probably have played more hours playing it than any other game ever. Fun as fuck.

Ahh, Burnout Paradise... the game that killed the franchise. :D I'm with Matty, Kedrix, Perry, Fumanstan and Slop... give me Takedown or Revenge. They can keep Paradise.

Side note, this will be the 10th Anniversary of Paradise which would qualify it for that other thread, we have laying around here, wondering why companies don't do anniversary games.

Yes, Takedown and Revenge would be great to have. If Paradise leads to that, then we can all celebrate. :lol: man some of you are really down on Paradise though!

Looks the same to me.... though maybe a bit more, I dunno, cartoony? Kinda like they gave it a bit of cel-shaded look, not unlike Borderlands. Don't care for it.

PC version in higher resolutions looks about the same, it's funny that it looks slightly better when it's slightly blurry. Similar issue with the GRID games, which look more realistic in lower resolutions.

I do as well. Just played some of the remaster via EA Access. It is a much better version. Yes it looks a lot better, especially the cars (if not quite current gen), but the real difference is the framerate. It moves SO much faster. It plays totally differently at this speed. Wow. Easy to miss a turn on the way to a finish line now. Still it is so much fun to just mess around with.

Yikes! You just made by buying decision even harder. I have been flipping a coin between this game and Injustice 2: Legendary Edition. It's still at 50-50 at the moment.

I got this from gamefly on a whim even though I don't really like racing games and never played a Burnout title. I played it for an hour or so last night and while it looks and controls great I would prefer a normal progression system instead of the open world.

I bought the game yesterday thinking all of the cars would be unlocked. I have googled and searched and can find nothing about how to unlock them. Any help would be much appreciated.

All the DLC cars and motorcycles are unlocked from the get-go. Pull into a parking lot and you can pick one.
The in-game cars have to be unlocked like always.

It would break the mission and progression structure to have those cars unlocked at the beginning. They would have to change the whole progression system to provide some other reason for playing through missions. That was never going to happen.
