Co-op PS3 Games? PS3 Exclusives?
 

We're going to be picking up a PS3 in the next week or so to hang out with our 360 and Wii. We're primarily getting it as a Bluray player, but I'd also like to pick up any must-have games for it as well. Anything you can recommend? We love games where we can play together, so looking primarily for co-op games. We're not really into sports or racing games. What about any PS3 exclusives? If I like God of War will I like Heavenly Sword? Anything else?

Try the Super Stardust HD Demo, it's really cool and there's co-op. :)

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance might work

Pretty sure Resistance has a co-op mode

and yeah, Heavenly Sword is pretty good. But I'd say it's a little slower paced than God of War, but the game has some awesome sequences that are vastly different from the normal hacking and slashing part of the game

Rock Band has a fantastic co-op mode although it's not a PS3 exclusive.

Resistance is indeed co-op. My wife and I ave been playing through it since we got our PS3. We also picked up Rainbow Six Vegas which says it can be played co-op (but we have yet to break it open to verify).

We are also interested in more co-op games that are not sports or racing. Any help would be appreciated.

Call of Duty 4 and Ghost Recon 2 are awesome.
