For the flyout blade though when you hit the guide button on the controller? Not the background wallpapers, I'm aware of that.

okay, the DMC4 demo was finally available to silver members last night (about a week and half, which is not terribly bad). I tried it and to my surprise, the controller worked pretty well. The Left Thumb stick is a bit stiff, but not a biggie (kinda the opposite of the Sixaxis, it's too loose to my taste). I believe the game is spaced out between button smashing and looking for "clues" so gamers shouldn't experience sore thumbs or anything like that (of course, i didn't play the actual game so i could be wrong). As to tearing, to my surprise too, i didn't notice any (and i notice it on the PS3). Overall, i'm gonna sit out on this title for a while ($40 for the CE version would be nice
). If i have no other games to play, $60 is not too shabby for this game (of course you can cheaper than that on launch week, CC gives you a $10 GC for example).

Thanks for looking out, man.

Anyone try Turok yet? Apparently some GameStops and Blockbusters have been selling it early...

YMMV, but check your local Best Buy, some BBs near me have been selling the legendary editions for $50 to get rid of them. However, this was 2 weeks ago when I saw the stack.
And if anything, GS/EB brought the price down to $79, wait a bit more and it'll probably drop again.

Three things that worked together made Turok unplayable for me:
- no aim-assist
- jerky aiming controls
- recoil movement with each shot
Now, alone, none of those would matter. But in this game, they all work together to make the shooting portions of this first-person-shooter unplayable.

I did go on a demo bender today - here are my impressions:
- Turok - bad controls/frame-rate killed it for me.
- Conflict Denied Ops. - nothing special, but controlled really well (I played it after Turok, so maybe that helped), and was kinda fun. I appreciated being able to switch between the characters. It was about a billion times better than Jericho. It was sort of a cross between CoD4 and R6:Vegas, though not nearly as good as either. (it's a "budget" game at $49)
- Turning Point - this is that first-person-shooter where Nazis take over America. It's pretty silly, and the demo was kinda glitchy, though it still controlled better than Turok. I did think the Nazi air-strike over Manhattan was kinda impressive. But the rest felt sorta standard fare.
- The Club - Good execution and well done for what it is. But it seems really shallow - I don't care about playing for points. The look of the game was really bland too. It controlled nicely though.

Could someone suggest a good router [we have Comcast Cable] for Online?
Oh, and we are in the market for an HD TV...
