Elder Scrolls Oblivion - GOTY - Buggy?
 

I just got a PS3 for Christmas and it would appear that this game would be one both my wife and I would enjoy. Problem is, I read a lot of reviews that talk about many bugs, but without any detail. There is also nothing about whether or not any patches fix the problem or if they were fixed for the GOTY edition.

Can anybody help me out? Last thing I want to do is blow $50 on a buggy game with no way to get a patch.
