Dammit...why'd you have to get my hopes up only to crush them by saying it's a mobile only game. The best news I've heard today just turned into the most disappointing .

hm. About 9 years ago, I would have still cared (of course, mobile phones back then couldn't do what they do now). But given that I haven't played even a semi-decent game from Square in a loonnnnnng time, I don't mind missing out.

If only the Japanese would embrace a handheld device to play games on that was more capable and standardized than a cell phone...

It's probably because

1. Japanese Cell phones are always 2 years ahead of us.

2. They got a huge wad of cash for exclusive rights.

Japanese cell phones make the iPhone look like a budget, pay-as-you-go phone.
