I saw an ad for this in this mornings LA Times.

All I ask is that you stay away from the Burbank CA Toys R Us tomorrow morning!

They've been $50 at Costco for weeks.

Really? If I have a problem getting it at Toys R Us tomorrow morning, I may check out Costco.

Thanx Chris

Believe it or not, a year later, you can know buy Guitar Hero II for the Xbox 260 for $10 + shipping (around $6-$9):

http://www.redoctane.com/Guitar-Hero...uitar-Xbox-360

To get the price down from $30, you'll need to use a $20 coupon code: SAVE20

You'll be able to enter the code after you've enter your payment details, and get to a review screen with all the pertinent details.

If you buy 2 more wired controller for $20 ($10 each), you get free shipping, which makes the 3rd overall guitar controller cost about $3.50.

For me, with shipping and tax, buying just the bundle, it cost me $18, but buying the bundle and 1 extra controller costs around $29.50, but getting the 2nd extra controller, it cost $33 since free shipping kicks in.

I was going to get in on the deal, but I'm left-handed and the controller isn't quite left-handed friendly, even if I just flip it around, since the whammy bar gets in the way.

I saw the game only GH2 on 360 at Target for clearence at about 20 bucks. Was thinking about getting it but changed my mind since I should finally have World Tour coming in a couple weeks.

You should get GH2. It is an awesome game with some great songs. Look it at very, very cheap DLC.

That's the only way to look at it because going back to 98% covers and a weird angle of the onscreen fretboard is painful.

If RB would put up Jessica for DLC, I'd be all but done with GHII.

Sweet Child of Mine, Strutter, Can't You Hear Me Knockin, Free Bird, MCR Pack, Queen, Them Bones, etc...

I am a long way away of DLC to ever get rid of GH2.

All shitty cover versions.

I played GH2 once all the way through and never picked it up again.

I think some of the covers are great, most are good, only a few are truly terrible.

In most cases, they aren't note for note, or even close. They take alot of creative license with the songs, which for a guitar guy like me (I've played guitar for 20+ years and can play pretty much all the songs on these games by heart) really throws me off and interrupts my enjoyment of the game.

Makes perfect sense. As a big dumb jock, I can't play any sports games anymore for similar reasons. My guitarness only stretches to plastic instruments so I don't know any better.
