I got this reply from amazon when I emailed them about getting the difference refunded.

It was a special promotional deal for limited quantities and not a price drop or *sale* price.

After the special promotional deal expired it went from sold out to back in stock at the regular $129.99 price.

You might want to try a couple more times just to be sure. It took me 3 emails and a phone call (it was the third email that worked) to get the $10 promotion refunded off an earlier Cars/Ratatouille order.

Tell them that you could have placed a new order, but felt it would have been easier for them to honor their price-matching rather than you refusing shipment of the earlier order.

It took me a couple of emails to get the price adjusted for my Friday order as well.

Definitely send another email.

I ordered 5 at $79.99 on black friday.

I then saw that they were $59.99.

I contacted amazon and said that I had not yet received my shipped order but when it arrived, that I could not open them and return them to sender at there expense, and then submit another order again with free shipping. Or be given the price adjustment which would make things easier for everybody.

I then received a $100 credit

Got mine in today via UPS. Super fast shipping since they said that they had just shipped it the other day.

Man that helmet is cool. My 3 year old son starting chanting "Halo! Halo! Halo!" as I took it out of the box.

Only disappointment is that the discs came in two keepcases and not in the Limited Edition Tin which looks good displayed next to Halo2's Limited Edition.

The Halo3 LE also came with a cool little bio book that the Legendary Edition does not have which is odd.

I might just have to get blank dvd disc and just give the game disc & essentials disc to my brother-in-law and keep the LE tin and booklet. I am not usually such a packaging whore but looking at it all together, it would be hard to break it all up.
