Wii's advertised in store ad 11/25 anywhere?

Does anyone know if the Wii is listed in any of the store ads for this week?

It's pretty easy to find nowadays. Check your local GameStop, EB Games, WalMart, Target, Sears.

You might think so, but, once they hit the floor, they aren't so easy to find. I know several people who are looking for one, and I will tell them, "Hey, I was just at (insert store name), and they had several." Then, I'll get the call back, and I hear, "Man, by the time I got there, they were gone!".

The best thing to do is call around. Find out if they have any in stock. If not, when do they expect any. Be very nice, and just try to feel them out. Keep checking the ads, as well.

I frequent video game sections at my local retail outlets, and I haven't seen a console in the wild since early summer. It may vary by region, but I don't think you are correct in this case.

My advice: Use those "Wii tracker" sites...check Craig's List...and keep checking for ads (understanding that you may have to show up really early to get in line). You'll get one if you are motivated.

Maybe in some locations.....but they won't be easy to find until they stop selling for over $500 on ebay.

I've seen one my whole life in the wild. I don't live in a huge area either.

I've seen them 3-4 times total, all early this summer.

Amazon sells 1400 Wiis in 10 minutes. Ten. Minutes.

...also says Nintendo is producing 1.8M/month and cannot meet demand.

LOL! Who would have ever thought? Apparently, Drug Mart's are now selling Nintendo products for the Holiday! Looks like you can pick up Nintendo Wii's, DS Lite's, and games.

I'm not so sure - they all look as if they're not sealed - There's no reflection of light from any of the packages along the edges of the case. I'm betting they are display boxes. Furthermore, none of the DS boxes don't appear to have that circular clear plastic seal on the edge of the box.

Yep...and dollars to doughnuts that Wii box is empty as well.

Just sayin.

You usually have to find them the day of, most places get shipments on tuesdays I believe. Call in the morning to these stores to see if any have come in. When that happens either yourself or someone else needs to go get them. Do not believe people when they say they are very easy to find. If that was the case you would not be seeing Wii's being sold on craigslist for 15-30% more than what they are worth.
