Classic game collections on the Gamecube?
 

I noticed a clasic Sonic games collection at a Game Crazy today for about $12 and immediately wondered if there were other such collections for the GC? Seems to be a much cheaper alternative than dropping 8 bones per for the same games on the VC.

What other collections are out there for 8 or 16 bit era games? Is the Sega Genesis Collection a PS2 exclusive?

Sonic and Megaman are the two that leap to mind for me.

They also had the usual Namco Museums and whatnot.

I believe there were capcom classics and midway arcade treasures available on gamecube as well.

That's all that's coming to me...

You'll find more on the PS2 and Xbox (like Atari Anthology, Taito Legends, Capcom Classics Collections, etc.). Heck, even the PSP has some decent compilations. In fact, of the ones I could think of, only the Zelda ones are exclusive to the GC.
