CroxwithSox is my band name, as some of my friends make fun of me that I have to always wear socks, even with Crocs or slippers.

My band name is High On Boat Paint. My fiancee was painting a model boat when a friend and I were setting up. She calls out from the other room, "I think I'm high on boat paint." At that point we just knew it was perfect. She then came in and made her drummer character. Our logo is a headless ninja flying towards the firerat with HOBP written diagonally from the top left corner to the bottom right. I can't wait until Harmonix gets their community site up so we can link to our band pages. I've also read that you'll be able to buy figures of your characters, at least that's what it says on Wiki.

We have no creativity so we went with the Slapsgiving Quartet and the Nugget Pron Trio.

Our scores don' t seem to be registering online tho.

Weird thing, last night we got together and started a new band based in New York. We played Say It Ain't So, 5 star/gold starred it, and go play a mystery set and one other. So we get to the second venue and do a mystery set list, thinking hey it's early on, it shouldn't be a problem... so we decide to all play on expert again.

Sure enough, we get The Who and The Police.

After squeaking by on that, we decide to do the Van concert for our little 1967 piece of crap, and since we assumed it was a pre-set list for that, we do expert one more time.

Fuckin' Green Grass and High Tides.

After about 8 minutes of it, we all failed at the same time, lost a thousand fans and called it a night. Damn those unknown set lists!

Only a thousand? I failed a mystery set that included Highway Star (barely passed) and Ride the Lightning...and lost 45,000 fans.

It was our 4th set, I think we only had 1000 fans .

This game is so great. I never got into GH or other similar games before (I am a musician at heart and felt these games were poor substitutes). Now I see what I have been missing.

We set up a family band with me on guitar, my wife on drums, and our teen daughter as vocalist, and it was a great family game time. Our band name is Blizzard WaKe (though RB said it wasn't an acceptable name for online - any ideas why?).

I've also been doing the solo tour on guitar. Just learning the ropes but I can see hours and hours of fun here. Downloaded the Police pack, My Sharona and Jukebox Hero. I'm hoping they will continue to release some cool tracks through live (nothing for the remainder of the year is really my thing). Would love some of the following Springsteen, Journey, Eagles, Beatles (very unlikely as the rights are tough to get), and some more classic rock.

I played a couple of songs online with a friend (who is playing through the drum career). Also a good time. Amazing network system, just wish you could do Band World Tour online.

Overall, this has to be one of the best games yet for the overall replay value of the game. Now I have to pick up GHIII so we can get the wireless guitar for use with RB (and to play a decent set list of songs on guitar through GH as well).

We have two bands in Rock Band and two we need to transfer over from GH.

Ball Gag, Tea and Pancakes, Phallic Lunch and The Delta Duo.

I think I need to start a drum career. It bothers me how badly I suck at it. Oh, and I must say that from all the bitching about Coheed and Cambria, I was expecting to hate the song. But, at least on the guitar, I really enjoyed playing it. And I got 97% on Hard my first time through, which is great for me. Not sure why everyone hates it so much, especially considering some of the songs before it (I'm looking at you, Suffragette City - I am NEVER PLAYING YOU AGAIN! )

Yeah, they're a pain once you're working on your 2nd band or further or if you've progressed on a rock career.

The plus side is that Make a Setlist lets you pick any song.

All my band names:

Das Pandamonium (myself, my brother on drums, my sister on bass)
ACME (my best friends and my friend's girlfriend, we used to work at Acme Supermarkets in high school)
East Meets West (myself singing and playing guitar)
Finger in the Dike (myself and a buddy of mine)

I'm also in someone else's band but they don't have the game yet so they've only played it here.

On Saturday I'll be forming yet another band at a buddy's place.

This game is really fun.

Quick question. Is anyone else having problems using the headset to chat online when playing Rockband? I assume I just plug my headset into the little hole on the guitar (or drums). But when I do that, I cannot chat with my friend who is playing the drums. Any suggestions?

So, what are some of your guys' dream DLCs?

I think mine include:
Toto (Hold The Line/Roseanna/Africa)
Journey (Any Way You Want It/Don't Stop Believing/Wheel in the Sky?)
Clapton (anything really, but definitely Layla)
Genesis (as someone mentioned before)
and I'd even like to see some GH songs re-released. I really would love to have Sweet Child O' Mine, More Than A Feeling, Free Bird, etc.

I guess just more "well known" "80s pop" type songs. Especially for when I have friends over who want to play songs we know.

In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins(fun drum song for the solo)
Pink Floyd
Led Zepplin - Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, Black Dog, Rock & Roll
Most anything off the GH 80's disc, provided they could be master tracks.

I'm sure I can think of more later on.

I played some Floyd on a hacked copy of Guitar Hero 2 a while back.

Easiest. Tracks. Ever. (Easier on Expert than most songs on Easy, but with 5 buttons)

Not to say they all would be, but good god whoever put that compilation together had no foresight for difficulty.

Good call on Queen.

Def Leppard... nice... Though I'd maybe substitute Rocket out and add in Rock of Ages, personally.

I have all 5 slots filled in Guitar Hero but can only think of three of them at the moment:

Long Gone Days
Enigmatic Chaos
Sanity's Requiem
