Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - Part II

Hope we can get some games going tonight guys. Last Friday we still had some problems joining games because some people would get dropped. Hope they can fix that soon...

By the way, this is probably the craziest multiplayer map I've played in a long time:

Someone would respawn just to get killed seconds later (martyrdom perk would sometimes take 2 or 3 people at once)

Yep, that map is insane on the PC with 30+ people all spamming everything they got to get kills, calling in air strikes and the chopper.

I've heard of the Shipment map, but never played it.

What game mode does it appear in most often? I normally play Sabotage and have yet to see it.

Ive played this Map a lot of times.. I see it on Free-for-all Deathmatch or on Small teams Deathmatch. Never see it on Ground War (big team deathmatch/domination).

It gets crazy, since its building has a lot of entrances..I get 2 kills with 2 ppl coming to me..next thing I know I get knifed from the back. Bullets comes from all side inside the building..

I'm finally able to pick this up tonight...so who wants to help me with some achievements? Steelgear? Chibul? I'm talking to you!

Keep in mind this will be my first Call of Duty game...
I'll pass. Many other games to play, and the COD series bores me.

mod edit: Sorry about the previous mod note. I totally didn't get the context until I got a PM from lordzeppelin. Apologies. -namja

Can anyone tell me a good place to do the Goodbye challenge? I can't seem to find a place high enough.

if you are talking about the fall 30 feet to your death, the top floor of the 3 story building in crash, or fall into one of the smoke-producing-stacks in the big open level with all the hangars.

for the falling down 30 ft (?) to your death, when you play the map with the missile tubes, theres one with the hatch open in the middle of the map with steam coming out. you can fall down there for it. not that I would know

I guess you prefer the ACOG over the red-dot? I just unlocked the ACOG for the M4 last night, but I had read on another forum that people hate it. I guess I'll give it a shot, but I was planning to upgrade the M16 next.

i love the m4 with the acog. it's the gun i use the most for maps when you might need some sort of sniping on a level. i can't even level up as much anymore b/c it's all i use.

Thanks, I wasn't paying attention last night and fell into this. Also shipment is crazy, a great map to rack up kills to upgrade weapons. i had 80+ kills in a 15 min match last night. The martyrdom perk got me about 25 to 30 of them though.

I like the idea ive seen some people do where they put the acog scope on a sniper rife--effectively shortening the range so its not too zoomed in where you lose the target if he's close.

The Countdown level is the one with the missile tube. My favorite map. I accidentally discovered the "Goodbye" challenge when I was running from a sniper. I died, completed the challenge and moved up a rank all in one clumsy move

I noticed that people hate the maps I like (Countdown, Vacant, Bog, etc) because those aren't sniper friendly levels. I prefer hunting people down. I always have alot of kills and rank in the top 3 in multiplayer but I always get killed twice as much as anyone else because I run and gun

It's good on the sniper type levels like Bloc and Ambush and Crash. If I am on a close battle like Vacant or Countdown I use the M16 with the red dot sight.

But the acog is hit or miss, no pun intended. It either works for you, or you find yourself cursing it. I can dominate with it one match and then the next find it not working out.
