Or Domination... I can't stop playing Domination. Love it.

Even though I lost 6 levels due to the server rollback tonight , I still love me some CoD4.

Apparently you need to FLY through the level to get checkpoints.

Like going down the stairs with at least 7:45 left! It takes me almost a minute to get down the first hall to the left. I can't make it down the hall at the bottom of the stairs, and it isn't the hardest part yet.

Here is what I found:
CP #1: The corner after the dining area / kitchen ~ > 8 min 15 seconds
CP #2: Going down the stairs ~ > 7 min 45 seconds
CP #3: After the large area of creates and before the painful corridor of doom ~ >6 min 15 seconds
CP #4: Before the slow opening of the doors ~ >3 mins 30 seconds
CP #5: Just before you blow out the wall to the war room ~ > 1 min 15 seconds

perks help, but they don't win matches...

playing well does that...

i use perks and weapons that are available pretty much at the beginning of the online game... i really like the 3 frags but it will be a while before i get it again... so i use 3 flash, and it's very effective...

my best rounds are like 26-6 kill to death or so... right now a 16 kill streak is the best i've ever done... and all with basic perks and the AK47...

i know people who've had like 20-25 kill streaks... i simply can't do that...

I have been slowly leveling up due to my immense dislike of Search and Destroy and Domination. I have just been playing HC TD or standard TD. You level up slower that way unfortunately.

I actually got CP #3 with significantly less time than that. I think I got it around 5 minutes. And yes, I had to play it about 100 times to get to CP#4 with 3:30 left.

I am positive I got CP#2 at around 7:30.

I am not sure what time CP#3 was, I haven't restarted there 100 times yet! I was happy to get that far, and took a break.

I'm pretty positive that on Veteran difficulty the cutoff is 6 minutes or above
(it's actually the 4th or higher checkpoint as there is an initial one upon dropping
down into the bathroom that wasn't listed in the above post). Got there just
under 6 minutes a few times and no checkpoint but the one time I hit it at 6:04
there was. It might be different on each difficulty setting but I'm not sure as
I've only played through it on vet.

I have to say one of my favorite parts of the bridge was when:

Spoiler:

Price slides the pistol to you. It felt like a scene out of a movie.

I got through on Vet last night. What a relief!!

I just need to do:
1) Airplane on Vet
2) Find missed briefcases (this should suck)
3) kill TVs
4) 3 consecutive knife kills
5) FNG in under 20 (should suck)

and I got my second 1000 game. The first, ironically, was COD2.

3 consecutive knife kills is very easy, you can do it on the ship right off the bat, as soon as your team blows the door off on the ship, you rush in and you will find 1 drunk guy to knife, turn right and 2 sleeping guards. Achievement unlocked.

I thought 5) is the hardest, yup, even harder than 1).

For some reason I can't get the 3 knife kills. I think I've done up to 5 or 6 in a row and it doesn't pop up. Do you have to sneak up to do it or can you just bum rush them (which is what I did)? Maybe I will give a Lastblade's method a shot.

That's how I did it (in the Arcade Mode). You can also get all the Intel items in Arcade Mode.

OK, then it must be the stealth. I'll try that.

What is the difference between regular and arcade?

I was going to go through on easy and mop up, shouldn't be bad after vet. I just don't remember which I have already gathered.

I would say the other way around. It only took me a few tries for the FNG one, but the skydiving one KICKED MY ASS for the past few days. I finally got it!

When I tried FNG, I was scoping the targets, which apparently is where I went wrong.

I only tried Airplane a few times, but never made it to the stairs. I am not very good at running and gunning. I am more of a R6:V pop-out and shoot kinda guy.

Am I the only one who has this issue with the multi-player? I pretty much only play Free-for-all, and either I completely kick ass and end up in the #1 or 2 positions, or I can't seem to catch a break and everyone seems to get the drop on me and I end up around last place - it's always one extreme or the other, never in between.

I'm pretty inconsistent, too, though I'm getting better at staying in the middle of the pack. There are some matches, though, where is seems like I'm always spawning in front of somebody, or in the middle of an airstrike, or just cannot get a feel for where everybody is.

I'm getting close to trying Prestige mode. I've got most of the weapons maxed out.

Isn't it 49.99 at BB this week? I guess that makes it 39.99 if you can successfully use the coupon that's floating around...
