Any good hunting games for the Wii gun, or other guns?

My kid would love something similar to the arcade Big Buck Hunter games for Christmas. Nintendo finally comes out with a gun control, while I don't thinkt he PS3 or 360 have one, despite these arcade games being more popular than ever.

I see Cabela's Big Game Hunter on the Wii and 360, but it doesn't say anything about the use of the gun.

Any help?

Anyone? They sell the full Big Buck Hunter game for home use but it runs around $4,500. If they can sell some of those, one would think there is enough demand to make a freaking 360 or PS3 game, right?

I think the PS3 is getting some kind of Time Crisis game with an updated Guncon controller... but I learned my lesson last gen that I'm going to wait and see who else besides Namco will adopt the controller before investing in it.

Won't the wii gun work for any shooting game on the wii that uses the wiimote? You might have to use the front trigger instead of the back (nunchuk) trigger, but it should work, right? So if the Wii already has Cabela, that should be fine (though I have no firsthand experience with it)

Updated: guess it's the PS3 getting the guncon, not the 360? or are both systems getting it?

I know they Cabela's just came out with their hunting game for the Wii. It's probably not designed for use with the Wii Zapper, but I suspect that the gameplay is such that it would work just fine.

So basically you want us to help you find a game so you can practice when there are no dogs around?

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to tell you.

I'll have TC4 with the new Guncon to review shortly for PS3. Ideally other companies would use that for other games, I hope so.

The problem will be with games that use the buttons on the face of the Wiimote (A, direction pad, etc.). They are hard to reach when you're holding the Zapper in the traditional hold. I know the Resident Evil gun game relies on these buttons for specific actions (dodges, weapon switching, etc.) so it wouldn't work well with the Zapper.

Isn't it enough for Guitar Hero?

I enjoy the pump action shotgums at the arcade.
