Has anyone heard anything substantial on the rumors that Microsoft will be releasing a Blu ray drive for the 360? I really would rather not buy a PS3 just as a Blu player.

Anything can happen but that would be likely far in the future. From what I understand, MS wants to concentrate on VOD more than anything. I would wait until the smoke clears before running out and buying any BR player myself.

I just think it's amazing that people beg for a code at all but having a new member do it out of the blue is shameful. Live is less than 6.00 for a month, right? If you have a couple hundred dollar system, a few 60.00 games and internet service then ponying up that cash should not be all that tough. I'm a cheap bastard but I even thought Live was work it in the original XBOX where the service was in its infant stage and relatively useless.

But I have to say that if I hadn't already given my latest trial to a friend I would of hooked you up Deftones.

Oh I figured....I was too. :) I haven't even entered in the 1 free month they shipped along with my repaired unit. I wish they would include points cards because there is something that holds some value to me.

I have been having problems this afternoon with it. I couldn't go to Marketplace to download some free content for a game, and it froze up when I tried to go into Arcade to play an arcade game (a trial version even).
