I originally bought this for my husband as a Christmas present, but ended up giving it to him early, because I had been gone a lot recently... but anyway... he absolutely loves it and calls it his "stress reliever" after a long day of teaching third graders. He normally plays a game in season mode a night (at least). I have also been playing it some, and find that it's much easier and a lot more fun than all of those other baseball games I have attempted to play in recent years :) I love the expressions of the players and it's fun trying to make a baseball team of all your favorite players... definitely worth the buy!

Went to my local Best Buy and was able to pick it up today for $20!

I was going to save this for awhile, but had to check it out. Success mode is very addictive. I ending up messing with it for half and hour and finally had to force myself to turn the game off. I've got to finish the last case in Phoenix Wright before I can get into this one. However, it looks like $20 well spent.

I tried it out through GameFly, I thought it was pretty good but I couldn't justify keeping it long as it seemed like such a sloppy, lazy port from the PS2 version, no Wii Remote controls, no 480p or 16x9 support, etc. If they build a Wii version from the ground up, it'll likely be an instant purchase.

Picked it up for my soon to be 4 year old for Christmas. He loves baseball on Wii Sports and the minigame on Sonic, but, I didn't bother to check that this had no wii remote controls. Hopefully he likes it anway.

what happened to this game? can't find it anywhere, and Best Buy removed it from their listings ...

Best Buy semi-clearanced these out before Christmas, when they had a sale on them for 19.99... I couldn't find one in a BB store after that.

I picked it up during that sale and haven't opened it yet. After reading this thread, I don't know why I haven't given it a spin!

July 29th for Wii and PS2, wasn't sure if it had been mentioned yet. Updated rosters would make this a no-brainer for me.

I don't think I played it enough to warrant a new pickup this year. Maybe when it price drops like woh again.
