That's already been debunked. That's not for a new Twisted Metal game, although that would be very cool if it was.

A Twisted Metal game is what got me to buy the PS2. I didn't have another game for it for years.

If there is a new twisted metal game coming for PS3. I will definately be buying a PS3 in the near future.

I absolutely loved Twisted Metal 2 and TM Black. If this game isn't in development for the new system, someone needs to needs to lose their job. If done right, it could put a lot more PS3s into homes.

fond, fond memories of the 1st 2 games, but i don't have a ps3 so not going to be playing this one. too bad.

I played so much Twisted Metal 2 it was obscene. I wanted to see the ending for every character. The destructible environments were great. I loved destroying the eiffel tower, then driving up it. Just great stuff. That final boss was horrendous though.

Twisted Metal 2 and Twisted Metal Black are probably my favorite Sony made video games of all time. I hope they don't screw it up with the wrong video game studio making the game. I remember Twisted Metal 3 on the original Playstation was a very bad game.

Jaffe defends controversial Sweet Tooth scene from latest Twisted Metal trailer April 9th, 2011 9:51 pm ET The latest trailer from the upcoming Playstation 3 exclusive game, Twisted Metal, features what some deemed to be a controversial live-action scene featuring Sweet Tooth attacking a female victim with a machete. Some viewers commented that they thought that it look like the murderous clown was trying to “rape” the victim. David Jaffe, who is the director of the game, defended the scene on Twitter with the following statement: Wow- amazed/saddened/confused that people are getting 'rape' from the new TWISTED METAL trailer. Wha?!? Is it Tooth attacking a girl? Yep! That's kind of what he does:he's a slasher in the vein of Freddy and Jason. But raping her?!? Where the hell are some of ya'll getting that? When a follower commented that the perception is the result of the media sexualizing violence against women, he responded with the following: The fact that many auto assume violence against women (violence against ANYONE is horrific) equates to rape I think speaks more about that person's views of sex and power and violence than our trailer does. Rape is a violent, non sexual act in most cases. Our media being sexualized should have NOTHING to do w/triggering a thought of rape4 folks who don't go there anyway. I like the idea that it's ok if Sweet Tooth is attacking and killing that girl.... but raping her crosses the line. It's fucked up either way... but it's a video game, so get over it.
