Post E3 Wishlist
So now that E3 has come and gone, has your wishlist remained in tact? Gained a few titles? Lost interest in others? Since the big three basically stuck to whats coming soon, we'll do the same. Let's stick to games coming out this year for the main list.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary 10. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga 11. Timeshift 12. Chronicles of Riddick Nintendo Wii 1. Super Mario Galaxy 2. Metroid Prime Corruption 3. Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure 4. Nights: Journey of Dreams 5. Endless Ocean 6. Tomb Raider: Anniversary 7. No More Heroes 8. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 9. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games 10. Manhunt 2 (assuming it gets released) Nintendo DS 1. the Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass 2008 1. Condemned: Bloodshot 2. Turok 3. Too Human 4. E3 did little to change my want list. I'll only list those I'll likely(?) buy this year (if I can afford them)
Wii Battalion Wars 2 Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (maybe) Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Budget title?) LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga Metroid Prime 3: Corruption MySims Super Mario Galaxy Super Smash Bros. Brawl Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure Wii Fit Mario Kart DS Advance Wars 2 Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings Insecticide The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass My Word Coach Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword Worms: Open Warfare 2 One I've become interested in post E3: Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck Who am I kidding. I cannot afford all these. I'm going to try my hardest to at least get the holy trinity (MP3, MG, SSB) plus Zach and Wiki and Batalloin Wars. For Next year (after Christmas money): Mario Kart and Wii Fit. And I definately want Zelda: PH. |
Lots of good stuff coming out. A couple you didn't mention that I'm looking forward to are Mass Effect and Conan, both for the 360.

Conan is a wait and see for me. If it is MMO-like and free (after paying for Live) then i very well might snap it right up.
After showing my wife the Wii Fit thing she said she may want to buy a Wii as our "family" present for Christmas this year. I haven't been following Wii games at all so there may be a bunch i become interested in. Anything Big Brain-like she will love. Smash Brothers could also be cool. |
Even before seeing this thread, I knew there were tons of games coming out between now and early December, so I decided to list them all out. It's amazing how many promising games are on the horizon. The ones in bold are ones I'll definitely be buying. The rest I'll either rent, buy, or skip based on reviews and available funds. :)

You know Buzz, i'm also really curious about Blacksite - the demo and videos have been decent.
I don't have a PS3 but that camera/CCG game looks really cool. I would hate to buy the game though and then have to buy expansion packs. I'm also looking forward to the Fullmetal Alchemist game on the DS that comes out in like a week. |

There are a ton of games coming out, too many to buy all this year. E3 didn't really change anything for me. Overall Crysis, And Half Life 2 Episode 2 are my two most anticipated games this year, and Burnout Paradise next year.

Just played the Conan demo and didn't see much point in starting a new thread just for that. Plays pretty well in my opinion - nice hack and slash option, although there isn't much in it to judge the skill upgrades, etc -- but the graphics could definitely use some work. Sounded like Claudia Black doing some voice work as well -- which would be pretty cool. I'll probably end up checking out the final product.
