Changing your Xbox Live Gamertag...
Anyone know if I change my Xbox Live Gamertag, does it automatically update with all my "friends" or will my ID not show up with them anymore?

Yeah, Green Smurf changed her Gamertag and it simply updated her name on my friend's list.

I checked the site but saw nothing about it updating with other people's friends list.
