Quake CTF - I downloaded this one day in college about 1.5 hours before my next Physics class. 4 hours later I realized I had skipped my class inadvertantly. 10 seconds later I realized I didn't care.
Quake 2 CTF (particularly the LMCTF mod) - I remember coming home from a date at 3:30AM with class the next day and realizing I had to play a game or two before going to bed
Civilization 2 & 3 - Is going to bed at 6AM with work in 3 hours a sign of addiction?
Guitar Hero 1/2

Everquest

I once played from a Friday evening, straight through until Sunday afternoon....almost 48 hours....but I finally got that FBSS!! As sad as that is, I know many that have played from much longer continuous stretches of time. Back then I routinely played EQ until 2,3,4am and had to be at work at 7am. More than a few times I played all night and went to work without sleeping. Luckily a guy I worked with was an EQ addict as well(we played on the same server), so we took turns napping in the server room while the other stood watch.

I look back at my EQ time, and kinda shake my head at the time I had /played on my main character. Never again though.

Final Fantasy Tactics (PS). One of the only games I've ever replayed fully.
Diablo and Diablo II sucked up a whole lot of time as well.
Heroes of Might and Magic III.

Resistance may be good, but it definitely not the best FPS ever by a long shot.

I second that.

In addition I was always consumed with the various incarnations of Grand Theft Auto, and Gran Turismo.

The only correct opinion is the one that agrees with mine.

But seriously, I would think that anyone who has played a lot of PC FPS would agree that Resistance would not even make the top ten best FPS list. I would assume that someone who lists Resistance as best FPS ever has played very few FPS overall.

Hehe thats funny to me because people addicted to MMORPGS do 16 hours a day regularly everyday :P Trying doing 48 hours straight because you don't want to stop raiding :P

Well to be fair, if one has only been playing shooters on Sony systems than it may well be the greatest FPS ever.
