My wife's around 13-14 hours, and getting ready to start Chapter 6.

Definitely seems like a fun game. I'll be trying it out tonight.

I absolutely love this game! This is my type of game. I've never played a Paper Mario game, before. I am really enjoying it. In fact, it's my favorite game on the Nintendo Wii, so far.

I just finished Chapter 3, and I've found the Heart Pillar. I'm getting ready to start Chapter 4. I have one question, though. Where is Flopside. I've seen people mention it, but, I've not found it.

By the way, I love the arcade games (the three that I've played). I especially love Mansion Patrol. I'm over 750,000 as my top score in that game.

Anyway, any help in finding Flopside would be greatly appreciated!

Don't worry. You can't miss it.

Oh, my gosh, Pinata242! You are in Owasso? I used to live there. I now live in Coweta. I really enjoyed living in Owasso. It's grown so much since I lived there.

Do you mind if I add you to my Wii Friend Code list? My information is in my signature, as well. Let me know.

So, the only tip I get for finding Flopside is that I can't miss it? So, from that I assume it's something I'll be sent to?

Feel free to add me. I'll do the same later.

Yes, "you can't miss it" is the only help you'll get. It's as easy to miss as Chapter 5, for example.

I've only lived in Owasso for 4.5 years and it's exploded just in that time so I can only imagine how different it is from before. I grew up in Moore and that place has changed dramatically. Of course the tornadoes that destroyed it back in '99 really sped that process up.

Thanks, I'll add you to my list later this evening. I'm watching Desperate Housewives, now, and then Brother's & Sister's after that. So, I will add you after I catch my shows.

It's been about 6 years since I lived in Owasso. It was only after I moved that it really started growing.

Thanks for the tip on finding Flopside. I guess I need to continue playing if I want to find it.

But does that in game tracker include cut-scenes? I've played 8 hours(I'm between levels 3 & 4) according to the clock but I'd say at least 90 minutes of that has been reading text bubbles.

No clue. My guess it that it counts all the time from when you load the save file until you save again, including the parts where you read text. 15-20 hours is about as long as I want a single-player game to last, so I was happy with SPM in that regard.

I got about halfway through before I got careless and let an Amazing Dayzee hit me when I was close to leveling up and healing without using an item. I found that it was averaging about a minute per level. So an hour and a half or 2 hours would probably be a low-ball estimate.

I just finished the 1st Chapter last night and I'm really hooked. SPM was kind of a blind buy for me, but it has been a lot of fun so far.

I rented it, but may have to buy it, very cool game. I was a bit turned off at the beginning with the intro dialog which seemed to take 10 mins to click through but overall im impressed with the game.

I just rented Zelda so now i'm addicted to that too lol.

Man I must be a restard because I get stuck in every stage at least once. Luckily Al Gore invented The Internets for this purpose.

I've only had one problem thus far and it really only took a little time for figuring it out. I couldn't get up the stupid tree in 3-3(?). There were some of those 2D arrow blocks in the 3D aspect I was missing. Felt pretty stupid when I realized it.

Can you do the Flopside Pit of 100 trails after you beat World 8? I'm at level 19, and I need to power up before I do it (or do I?).

I wonder how many hours of dialog there are in this game. I just sit there and click '2' as fast as I can, and it still seems to take forever to get through the dialog parts.

I just finished level 7 and can't wait for the game to just end.

Yep. There is no way this is a 20 hour game minus the dialog. Probably 5-7 of it is dialog. I just finished level 4 and while the story is decent, I'm basically done with the dialog/story as well. I just want to play the damn game. I click '2' as fast as I can as well.

Yes, after you beat the game, you can save it. When you load up again -
Spoiler:
Mario returns to Flipside "some time later" sans Tippi and you're free to roam around the towns and revisit the worlds.

I picked this up today with a giftcard I had gotten, I'm loving it. Dialog is witty, story is engaging (though there are too many stop and talk points) and the gameplay is just fun. Nice to see Nintendo revive the classic "I AM ERROR!"

I've been fine in the individual stages for the most part, where I get stuck is back in Flipside trying to either find specific buildings or where the next heart pillar is--I'm there so rarely and so long between visits, I forget the layout each time.

I'm on 8-1 now and loving it!

I got stuck once... and I felt so stupid.
Spoiler:
Bombing the floor in front of the plant paintings. I should have noticed the cracks!

I'm trying to beat the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials. I got so close yesterday, somewhere around floor 93 or so, and a stupid dark Amazee Dayzee looking enemy killed me. I didn't know the damn thing did 20 damage with one hit! Man I was pissed. What sucks is that this particular enemy keeps hiding from me by going from 2D to 3D, especially since I've been using Bowser on practically all the floors.
