Cracked disc
Just last night I noticed 2 small cracks on my PGR3 360 game. They radiate out from the center hub and have just reached the data portion of the disc itself. This explains why it is now unreadable. They probably started out small but then grew over the numerous times I'd removed the game from the case.
I bought it used only 3 weeks ago from eBay for $15. Not so much a financial loss but it still sucks. :brickwl2: All my other games I keep in CD/DVD binders but this one I just had in the case next to my Xbox since I was playing it almost every day. Anyone experience a "defect" such as this before? |

You can "crack" X360 games? Wow, i might get a X360 afterall.... Oh wait, it's the other meaning of crack (the one we allow to talk here).
Yeap, it happened to my dvds... You have to pay attention to the type of dvd case you're using. I notice that some dvd cases, the button that suppose to hold the disc in place, it's badly designed. i.e. it tend to "crack" the center of the disc and of course, the minor cracks migrate outward... At first, it only affect the center of disc, the none data area, you know the clear portion. Slowly, the crack goes toward the data area. Well, for dvds, the player plays the disc fine... For X360, heehee, good luck! I read few posts about the X360 scratching discs and dead-before-warrenty, i decided to wait for the new X360. |
