Is this going to be $19.99 retail as Liberty Stories? I picked up Liberty Stories for $13.00 upon release at circuitcity.com.

I sure hope it is priced at 20 dollars or less. Any more than that is too much for a last gen GTA game. I will gladly pick it up at the right price.

Is this for real? Where did you see the release date? Psyched to be able to play a new GTA game.

Price has not been announced however I will not be picking this up for more than $20.00. They cannot honestly believe people will pay over $20.00 after releasing LCS for $20.00 last year.

Agreed. I'm sure it will be $20 or less. What with the PS3 out and all.

Not sure....I am finally playing my LCS game after picking it up months ago. Having a great time and it is great revisiting a city I once knew long ago....

I played the original Grand Theft Auto on PS2 along with the original Vice City for a continuous year after their release. Fun..fun games with so many things to do.

I doubt it. One thing I noticed right off with Liberty City Stories is the lights on the police car at night. In the original Grand Theft on the PS2, they reflect all over the place at night which was very cool. In LCS which I believe is a straight port from the psp with no enhancements(correct me if I am wrong), this effect is gone which to me tells me they did nothing to enhance the graphics. I could be wrong...did anyone else notice this with the emergency vehicles?

dude....

it was 20 bucks when it came out. Did you really expect them to spend much time on the porting?

I just started playing GTA VCS last weekend

I won't get suckered again.
Why Rockstar can't run the scripts, etc. into a full blown PS2 engine instead of porting the low-res PSP version with nothing extra is beyond me.
I would pay $10 more if they made use of the PS2 advantages.

they are just opening up the same game to a larger audience.

spending time on a last-gen GTA wouldn't really be worth the effort
