Help remembering old game...
 

I'm trying to remember the name of an old game, I believe I played this on SNES but can't tell for sure. Anyways, you were this little creature that needed to go up a tower through some stairs. The screen would show the character in the same place and the castle seemed to rotate. Any of this sounds familiar? Any help would be appreciated :)

What you describe reminds me of Tower Toppler, a game I'm familiar with from the Atari 7800:

If anyone is interested, google "tower toppler download". Someone made an open source version of it :D

I remember this game fondly from my Sinclair Spectrum and Amiga days. Its called Nebulus. You play like a weird frog type creature and the tower rotates whilst your character stays in the same position. It was produced by Hewson software who also created classics like Cybernoid 1 and 2, Exolon, Rana Rama and Uridium. Check out the page about it below:

It appears that the Atari version was released the following year in the US. They probably got the license from Hewson for North American distribution.
