XBox 360 Remember: Game or HD-DVD
 

Is there a trick to get the Xbox 360 to remember whether I was last watching an HD-DVD or playing a game so that it starts up with the right thing when I turn it on next time?

I am getting a little sick of having to go to the XBox Dashboard, go through the DVD menu and scene selection when I want to continue watching an HD-DVD.

Any thoughts?

I've just turned off my 360 while watching my HD DVD drive. When I turn it back on and press HD DVD drive in my dashboard, it takes me right back to the place in the movie where I left off.

Weird. Mine always "boots" into the game I have in the Xbox drive.

There is an option to change that in your dashboard.

Go to Dashboard >> System >> Console Settings >> Startup

Then choose Xbox Dashboard.
