Streaming media using WII.

Just found this when looking on ways to stream media for ps3 and xbox 360.

Using a program called orb will allow you to open a gateway to your media files on your pc. Best of all it seems to be free. I have only seen two reviews on it by people using it with the Wii and both were good. Here is the link http://deanish.com/posts/make-wii-a-...enter-with-orb

There also is project that has gotten music and only one video type I never heard of working. I can not recall the name of the project though. I think they were using WMP for the streaming. I'll post a link if I find it again.

Wow just tried it out and it actually worked. Cool thing is it uses the local network instead of internet like I thought it would. I guess it has some kind of auto detection. The only problem was video looks like crap but watchable. Just finished watching a show.

Great! I think that it is just a matter of time before the quality of video playback gets better. I think that they've made amazing progress considering that it has only been a few weeks since the Internet Channel went online.
