God do I feel old. The consoles with the fake wood look are hilarious. I vaguely remember those earliest ones.

Not sure of the timelines on the pong-clones, but that Fairchild Channel F should be a lot further up the page -- it's the first programmable cartridge system!

Pretty cool, though.
