I was in there today and happened to look at their flyer, and noticed all those great titles on sale for 9.99


I bought Chibi Robo, Geist, and Battalion Wars :D

So is Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat w/2 bongos according to Slickdeals.

Does this cover GameStop too?

Yeah, I saw them on sale at the 2 Gamestops on my street...I thought about picking these up since I never had a GC and the bongo game looks pretty fun.

Couldn't resist getting the two extra sets of bongos for $10. I also grabbed Battalion Wars.

The excellent Fire Emblem is also $10, but they said finding a copy could be tough. The were sold out for awhile on it.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up Battalion Wars. Wanted Geist as well, but the store I went to didn't have it.

FYI, Victorious Boxers 2 for the PS2 is only $9.99. Don't know how good of a boxing game it is, but at that price I couldn't pass it up.

I picked up the bongos and Jungle Beat for my littlest brother for his birthday. He may be getting a Wii from our parents. Now i need to find a copy of Donkey Konga 1 and maybe even 2.

they had that fire emblem at my local store, but I never buy RPGs :/

fire emblem is a strategy game, not a rpg afaik

On the internet, any game where a character has a sword is an RPG. :lol:

Which stores did you go to?

I just came back from that same store (where I bought those 3 games yesterday) and they had a few copies of Fire Emblem for 10 bucks...

I looked at the back of the case again, and i just can't envision me playing it. It looks good if you are into that sort of thing

apparently you can link a GBA to your GC for that game too. Maybe something with the GBA game you can transfer over.....don't know

Fire Emblem is an excellent tactics RPG. You can link to the GBA versions and play some of the GBA maps with the GameCube engine. Well worth $10 if you like the genre. I happily paid $50 when it came out.

I got: Battalion Wars, Chibi Robo, Custom Robo, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (with extra official bongos) and Geist. What a steal!! I could only find Fire Emblem in their "new but opened" condition.. so I passed on that.. for now. I'll try to find a store than actually has a new copy.

They had everything mentioned but Fire Emblem. Bummer. :(

Picked up Battalion Wars at EB as a blind buy. Thanks to the Op!

Picked up DK Jungle Beat with the extra Bongos and got RE4 (used)for $5.00...How is Geist? I was thinking of going back and picking it up but wasnt sure about it.

Geist is WORTH $10. It's over average game, still had good time playing it.
