My friend has one he wants to get rid of. It is still brand new in the box and it is the better model.

its just the system. he told me he paid 6 plus tax and he wants to make a few bucks since he had to wait in line to get it

My friend works at a local video store, and he called me the other night, to ask me if ?I wanted to buy a PS3. I guess they had one in stock and noone knew about it. I said no, because I'm not interested in paying $700 for it, as it's not very intriguing at the moment.

I'd buy it and ship it to someone (for close to list price,) but it kind of seems like a hassle.

I'd happily pay someone list price + tax and shipping.

One of my students works at EB and he says that they've had a pair of the 60G models in the backroom and no one is even asking for them now.

Tell him to try ebay. Not too many people on this board seem to be interested in the PS3.

Bet they don't have any Wiis though :)

I bet the people that paid $2000 on ebay a month ago for a PS3 feel like douche bags now.

Especially those that bought them at that price expecting them to keep rising :) Double douche bags.
