I have Gain Ground via the Sega Genesis Collection on PS2. I hadn't played it before and wasn't very good, or, overly impressed. With the way it is talked about around here, I may try to give it a couple more shots.

All I am saying is it isn't hard to buy a Wii points card while I am in a store buying a Wii game or a DVD. It is just one less place where my CC number can be accessed from. Yes I understand that I am using the CC at the store, and at the restaraunt for dinner and on 1-900 numbers, but if it's one less place where my CC will be, then I feel less paranoid (as you put it). If you've ever been a vicitim of identity theft, then you may understand.

I'm getting Contra3 for sure. MK64 is good and all, but I prefer the DS version, so I'll skip that.

I don't know much about Bonanza Bros or Comix Zone - could someone tell me about them, and if I'd like them (I like 2D platformers a lot, BTW)?

I've been wondering if the cheats/shortcuts are still there. I know it is a port, but you never know. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet.

I guess letsplaywii.com gave up on getting any of the Wii points cards, because I just got a $20 gift card from them. Unfortunately, I can't use it for the Virtual Console, because I don't know what address it's registered under.

I downloaded Mario 64 this weekend, my first forray into virtual console. With the current pricing structure, the N64 games seem more or less worth $10...but $5 and $8 for NES/SNES seems a bit steep...especially when I can emulate them so easily.

I also really wish Nintendo would sell the points cheaper through the Wii since I'm sure their margins are better.

I didn't have a problem paying 10 bucks for Mario 64 either, but I'm having problems pulling the trigger on Mario Kart 64.


Maybe if/when I have some friends over that request the purchase, it would be a different story. Maybe I should take up a "collection" or something
