DS question
I placed a screen protector on my ds lite today.
I got like 2-3 air bubbles in and the problem is inside the bubbles are tiny specs of dust. Now, it doesn't really bother my view but what does bother me is that it might scratch my screen. Will it scratch my screen if I just left it alone? I'd rather not remove the screen protector and take it out then put it back onon account I did that once for my PSP but it just ended up collecting more dust on the screen. |
Personally I'm not a huge fan of screen protectors. They make the screen look like crap, and I find as long as you don't stab the screen and make sure it's relatively clean, you'll have no problems with scratches. At least that's been my experience.

I hate them as well. Didn't use them on my original DS I got at launch (the gf has it now) or on my Lite that I bought at it's launch.
Neither have any scratches you can see during gameplay, you have to hold it at certain angles in direct light and look for scratches to notice any as they are so small. Unless you have little kids using it, I wouldn't bother. Just make sure there is no dust on the touch screen when you start playing, and don't press to hard on the screen and you'll be good to go. |
I didn't see much point in putting it on the DS screen as you are supposed to touch it. I just use a microfiber cloth on the two screens every so often and I haven't had any problem.
