make sure you get that bad arse mech action figure as well.
I really should have opened it and put it on my desk to play with
. I'm a sucker for the metal cases too. Thankfully, this one isn't completely oversized like the GoW box.

As for R6, I thought the demo was garbage and as a result will not spend the $60 I previously saved for it. I enjoyed the LP demo much more and as a result will be buying the game. It's as simple as that.

Yeah Doc chill you psycho
Honestly though fellas we need to try to keep this more to impressions of Lost Planet as opposed to trying to convince people to buy other games instead. I will say though that people really need to stop using demos as cannon because they are more often than not absolute shit compared to completed builds.
Why these companies choose to put out inferior versions of their games as a trial is beyond me. Do they not realize they're potentially turning off potential buyers? Surely some of these people have taken business and or marketing classes in the past.

well, i think the people that get turned off on games, purely based on demos were "on the fence" to begin with. I can't really see those people randomly picking up the game in the first place.
I know I was completely disappointed with both R6 demos, but I got the game anyway, and I like it.
I REALLY loved the 1p demo for Lost Planet, but i was split on the multiplayer demo.

The action figure was only available if you preordered the game at Gamestop or EB Games. You got the figure if you preordered the regular edition or CE.
The figure is about 4" tall and is pretty cool.

I almost bought this tonight in Best Buy, but with R6:V, Oblivion, Gow, and GRAW left to finish it would just sit there anyway. Guess I will wait for a deal and pick it up then. I do think it looks like a must buy.

I loved the demos, so that's why I bought the game...but for some reason I'm really disappointed with the full game. I don't think there is any enemy AI for the snow pirates. They just stand there and shoot. If you shoot them they just get back up and start shooting again. It's also EXTREMELY frustrating how you can't move while you're being shot.
Edit: Just finished the 3rd level...WORST LEVEL IN A GAME EVER. Minor spoiler: I sat there for an hour fighting the boss, and he kept regenerating. I finally went online and found out that you don't actually have to fight him, you can just go past him. Then after him is another boss that's really cheap. Took me 90min to actually finish what should have been a 10min level b/c of the cheap boss fights. It's cheap b/c you have no time to move after you get hit. So you keep getting hit over and over and there's not a whole lot you can do about it.

OK so picked this up and playing it now...Now I would love to play online, but I am a horrible, horrible gamer as I cant even get past the first mission right now. Like the game so far, but I keep losing energy units for my suit and I die repeatedly and its pissing me off.

Just beat the game and it was a blast. It was a little short though, but I'm going to play it again on a higher difficulty. What I found strange was that some of the boss battles in the middle of the game were much harder then any of the later or final boss battles. I beat the final boss on my 2nd try, where it took me a good 15 attemtps on one of the middle ones.

Yeah I'm only at the 1st Boss so far. Normally I like both Single and Online play on games but I must admit that so far I'm liking Online a lot more on this one. But Single player isn't bad.
