The two I called said it had ceased corporate-wide.

I just called the one near my house and they said they still had the deal going. I'll probably end up getting Splinter Cell, because they didn't have Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Mine always appears like that. Some of the newer stuff was on an endcap though and I asked about a couple of the newer games and they had them all in the back. Just ask for what you want, chances are the lazy employees haven't restocked.

Just got back from FYE and got a great deal. I found a mall with an EBGames and an FYE so it was nice and easy. Walked out of EBGames with a 74.00 bill for 6 used games and got Tiger Woods 07, Splinter Cell: Double Agent and Test Drive Unlimited from FYE for free.

The selection at FYE was horrific and I had to ask for those games cause they were all behind the counter. Other than that...the experience was super easy. i recommend calling FYE ahead of time to make sure they will honor the deal. 3 stores near me wouldn't.

Thanks to the OP for a fantastic deal!!

Maybe I'll check back again then....my pregnant wife did not want to search around for games.

Same with my local store. The put out one empty copy of each new 360 games and give out sealed ones when someone buys one. The only problem is they often don't reshelve the empty case.

FYI it's still going on at my store. I traded eight PS2 games that I bought at EB for $30 ($4.99 each, b2g1) for Marvel Alliance and Dynasty Warriors 5. Woo-hoo! And I got an extra PS2 game in the deal too. (Don't remember what it is off hand.)

LOL, I just went to Mall at Millenia tonight. Went upstairs to EB and bought 4 copies of Madden 06 for 14.99 each. One copy of Ridge Racer 6 for 17.99 and a copy of NBA 2k6 for 19.99. Went downstairs to FYE and traded it all for NBA 2k7, Oblivion and Marver:UA. Can't beat that. Funny thing is I don't really feel like keeping any of those games with all the new stuff coming out. I may just go back when something like FEAR comes out and exchange it. Haven't decided yet.

I think this "deal" is almost dead according to people at CAG. It seems some FYE's even refuse trade-ins on the weekend. I was going to check again today, but we'll see.

Sorry to bump a dead (?) deal, and I apologize if this post comes off as just a brag, but I feel the need to share.

I just did all the math and figured out that this deal (combined with the EB B2G1F deal) was perhaps my best deal ever.

I spent $560 at EB, and ended up with two 360 games (Dead Rising and Need for Speed), one DVD set (Superman season 3), and $974 in either cash or store credit at FYE.

So in my mind I've decided that the $414 profit means I basically got my new Xbox360 for free. (edited this line for clarity)

If I recall there was a similar combo deal several years ago involving Blockbuster and maybe EB.

Its kind of like you're playing a real life RPG and you found a gold cheat. So you spend an insane amount of time doing little transactions to make 'gaming money'.

Exactly. Although to be honest I didn't spend too much extra time on this. I make the rounds to all the stores at least once a week anyway, I just bought more that week or two to take advantage of this.

Big thanks to the OPs of these deals for my free 360!
