I'm sure they've learned alot since the CoD2. Doesn't one of the other online war games support like 24 people? Battlefield maybe?

One of my questions is this (since we played w/ some public players last night)..

When we have a group playing.. Let's say 6-12 people (dvdtalkers).. Are the maps going to be too big that we have to open up public slots to have more players? Or.. If we have 6-12 people are players going to generally just WANT to have more so then open it up to the public?

I personally hate playing with random public players because 90% of the time you get asshats..

I'm sure the size of the maps will vary enough that with a smaller group we can stick with medium/small maps if we feel like it, I'm sure there will be enough of them. Personally though I like large maps with small groups so you can go hunting.

P.S. Tbird is there something wrong with your connection today?

Until then I can deal with 'marking the walls' with gunfire to deal with habitual campers.

As long as we can go in as a party all on one team and have the random asshats on the other team it would be cool.

Yeah, this can't come fast enough. I'm going to get Marvel Alliance, but I know that will be short lived. I'm sure I'll toss that aside when CoD3 hits.

Wow.. Martin sure takes a beating in these CoD threads.

I hope this game is a lot of fun. The bigger lobbies have me quite excited.

They fixed the picture packs. I re-downloaded the packs I purchased, plus I got to keep the pack I didn't pay for. All is good!

So is there a place yet where you can see what a theme or picture pack will look like? I'm interested in the pinup theme for CoD3 but it doesn't give you any impression what the art looks like (as in is it done in that style or actual classic pinup art).

That pinup theme looks really good. I may have to pick that one up.

Is that a site that shows you all the themes? The reason i have never bought one is the lack of any kind of preview. Seeing the screens really would entice me to drop the 2$ on one.

Has anyone picked up the pre-order for COD3 at Best Buy yet?

This is what the BB web site says about it: Just grab the new game and you can pick up a free pack that includes a highly detailed military map.

I'm curious what the map looks like...

A couple new movies up over at gametrailers.com for COD3..

I know we are all a little nervous about how the multiplayer is changing and whether or not it's for the better or for the worse but after watching the 2 minute multiplayer video I am EXCITED!!! (even moreso)
