yea, if you get that charge cable for it. If I have mine in USB mode, it MIGHT charge it a bit, but it would probably take all day

I've recently started replaying Wipeout Pure... sure it was one of the first games out on the system, but the level of support they gave it with the downloadable tracks and such is pretty cool. Just downloaded the "secret" Jax and Socom cars, and am intent on getting further than I did when I last played it a year or so ago. Any other games have that level of support?

as far as downloadable content, well, maybe Tekken DR, with all the ghosts and such you get to download. Not as cool as extra tracks, but cool none the less

Has anyone bought a system recently? Are dead pixels still a problem? My 2 year Best Buy warranty expires at the end of the month. My system has 3 dead pixels on the bottom that annoy the hell out of me. I'm hoping to switch it out for one with a good screen.

I believe I've read that the units in the $199 pack are likely problem free.

I got burnout dominator, and I must say, the constant reminder of the controls that cannot be skipped absolutely pisses me off

I just got mine at it was problem free as well.

If I recall, stuck pixels in LCDs are usually an issue of rushed production, that's why there was such a problem in the beginning. Given that the PSP isn't flying off the shelves these days, I think it might be safe to assume QC on the systems coming out would be a bit higher.

Of course.. the DS Lite I just bought has.. something.. it's way too small to be a pixel, but it's lit, so it can't be dust. But that was basically the ONLY DS Lite I could find in Dallas at that time.. and I still haven't bothered taking it back. Yay.

they call those "stuck" pixels

I heard theres some 4 hour video you can run on the PSP that un-sticks pixels. I don't know, my manager friend was telling me about it :/

No, it's too small to be a pixel. It's like a micro pin-sized piece of light shining through. The pixels on the DS are nice and chunky and if it was a whole pixel I'd be able to tell as I've seen a few DSes with them before (my first import phat had one).

well, i tried checking it out this morning, and as stated previously, the constant reminder of controls really friggin pissed me off...

mind you, im pretty new to this series as well. After the 5th time they stopped play to tell me "R" button is used for burnout, i turned the stupid game off

That lost regnum is actually pretty darn cool. I normally don't play those type of games, but I was rather impressed

You can turn this option off in the game. GoTo:

Driver Details
Settings
Options
Menu Damage - set to off

No. There was never any CD-ROM for the NES or Famicom.

Unless you're talking about theft/piracy.
