Yahoo! News: Playstation 3 for Less Than $200?

Hi everyone,

This is my first post and I have a question.

I'm sure you all have read about this at Yahoo! News - http://news.yahoo.com/s/prweb/200610.../prweb445153_1

If you haven't, some dude named Jeff Mulat wrote a report revealing his two secret sources for buying the Playstation 3 for less than $200. He was going to ship us his report on CDs but he decided to reveal his secret sources at his blog.

One of his sources was Unique Auction. I have never heard of that site before. Have any of you ever participated in an auction on that site? That Jeff Mulat dude said that it is basically impossible to win. Is it really that hard?

Thanks,
Chris

I wouldn't be suprised if 0 playstation 3s got listed on unique auction, why would someone buy a ps3 then sell it for 1/3 the price, like he said the auctions are listed by members of the site.

As far as the ebay thing goes, even if his idea would work, it will not now because you'll have thousands of people doing it.

I havn't read the ebay part of his blog because he hasn't posted it yet, but i'm thinking hes probably just going to tell you to go through the electronics then to video game systems an look for one that isn't listed as "playstation 3" or is misspelled. 99.9% of people that look up stuff on ebay just type it into search and dont scroll through the thousands of auctions, so if something is listed incorrectly not many people see it but again me just saying this will have thousands of people from this forums doing this and chances are you won't snag a deal, not to mention im sure not the first one to think of this.

My conclusion is it's pretty much BS.

Already plenty of PS3 discussion threads, this one is so far fetched, it's not worthy of its own.
