I've been sitting in the Stow Wal-Mart since 9:00AM. They have 20 and are selling them at midnight. We currently have 21 people waiting in line.

I was actually for some crazy reason thinking I could walk up and get one tomorrow, but around 7pm went by our target and wal-mart for fun and both had like 15 people or so already..

Pretty hard. I went by best buy/target/cc and they all had 15- 20 people in line already, and this is like 6pm.
Im going to head to walmart around eleven, got to drop off some film, and maybe the line will be small(doubt it)
So anyone know of any online retailers that are waiting for tommarow to begin selling?

My mom is a manager a local Wal-Mart. Her store is one of the biggest in either Carolinas and they only got 14 PS3s and 20 Wiis. When I talked to her today she let me know that people started waiting for Wiis around midnight on Friday or technically Saturday morning. The local Best Buys and Targets have tents out front again and lines going around the buildings. I was really hoping to get a Wii in the morning, but that is out the window now.

Apparently I have underestimated the demand for the Wii. All my local Wal-Marts (3) already have all their stock of Wii consoles spoken for. So, now I've gotta get up at the crack of dawn and head over to Target and hope I'm at least 33rd in line.

The Toys'R'Us midnight launch in Manhattan was sold out a couple of hours prior to midnight. They had people waiting in line the entire circumference of the block between 6th Ave and Broadway circling around from the door of the store almost all the way back. At the Nintendo store at Rockefeller Center, there is a line of people who have either been waiting since mid-saturday or came over after striking out at Toys'R'Us. There were at least 70 or 80 people lined up, but the Nintendo store is likely to have several hundred units at least.
There was nobody outside the Best Buy, but they may have given out tickets earlier Saturday.

I drove by 4 Walmarts hoping to find a small line; no such luck. I had resigned myself to getting up around 4 or 5 in the morning to head to to Target. By a miracle of who knows what, I got a call from the local Game Crazy store. I had preordered one a couple months ago, but was pretty high on the list. Somehow I lucked out. Tomorrow at 10:00 I will have a WII in my hands woohoo. I am stoked. I've never bought a system at launch, but I really wanted one this time. Best of luck to all of you. I hope you get to enjoy some WII goodness soon.

Tons of PS3 actions aren't even going for over $1000 at closing time. Hope it was worth sitting out in the cold for multiple days for only a few hundred in profit...

The numbers at Target for the Wii are spot-on accurate.
I arrived at Target at 6:55 a.m. and they handed out tickets at 7:00 a.m. (I knew to arrive 1 hour in advance due to the 360 launch) I was 17th in line and the total number of consoles at my local store was 39. In fact, they almost had twice as many tickets than people there.
I felt sorry for the couple at the front of the line. They had been there since 9 p.m. yesterday. As for me, I got my eight hours of shut eye and still had plenty of time to pick up a system.
Anyway, just passing along the news.

I hope the profits go down by the hour. Ef 'em.
Anyway, I don't care about the greedy pig sellers. I would like to talk to the buyers. I mean what kind of person spends money like that?

There were a few people at the front of the line just buying to ebay. I just don't see them pulling in enough to justify the 18 hours in the 30 degree weather they stood in. They weren't even gamers at all and were pretty proud of it. They were asking for game suggestions to go with their auctions. Yes 30 degrees and the guy behind me was in shorts and a t-shirt.
Oh well, they had probably twice as many tickets as they did systems. Looked like Wiimotes, nunchucks & Classic Controllers were in short supply. It was very organized and went about as smooth as anyone could ask.
