A fan made project that is currently underway.

Would be awesome if this turned out ok (i.e. like the fan Halo 2D game).

I loved Prime, but much prefer 2D Metroids.

As cool as these projects are, I don't see why they are announced ahead of time. All it does is get them shut down by Nintendo.

The Ocarina of Time 2D game looked awesome, then Nintendo killed it.
