Honestly i would probably rather have 10 pinball machines than 10 arcade games. But for the arcade games i would choose.
1. Baby Pacman (like another poster pinball + arcade = awesome) 2. Dig Dug 3. Mortal Kombat 3 4. Dungeons and Dragons (either of them) 5. Time Crisis (any of them) 6. Tron 7. Golden Axe 8. Time Soldiers 9. Heavy Barrel 10. Operation Thunderbolt |

- Ms. Pac-Man - Joust - Galaga - Q*Bert - Donkey Kong - Super Mario Bros. - Spy Hunter - X-Men (4-player, not neutered 2-player) - The Simpsons (same) - A Capcom fighting game of some kind Runners up: - Zaxxon - Dig Dug - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (3 beat-'em-ups is a bit much) That's an arcade that I personally would love, and I think just about anyone could find something they would want to play if they saw it. |
Tron(one with the light cycles)
Star Wars Super Pacman Stargate(the defender sequal) Tempest Zaxxon Robotron others ill add later im to tired to think... |

^ This is a dream for me. I have most everything I've ever wanted in life, but the Ms. Pac cocktail table is #1 on my want list. 1. Ms. Pac Man Cocktail table(or Ms. Pac Man/Galaga 20th Anniversary version) 2. Dragons Lair 3. Super Mario Bros. 4. Popeye 5. Pac Man (again, cocktail version) 6. Star Wars: Episode 1 pinball 7. Star Wars: Pod Racer Never seen 'em but I'm sure they'd be cool: 8. F-Zero AX 9. Mario Kart 10. Super Monkey Ball |

That's why I'd probably buy separate machines for Donkey Kong, Super Mario Bros., etc., even if I came across a combo--just so I could add to the labyrinthine rows of machines. |
01. One of the new retro Ms. Pac Man/Galaga/Pac Man machines (is that cheating?) -smile-
02. Star Wars cockpit 03. The Simpsons 04. TMNT 05. New Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Jr./Mario Bros. machine (again with the cheating) -wink- 06. Pinball - either Star Wars (OT), Guns N' Roses, or Terminator 2 07. Star Wars Trilogy sit-down 08. Whatever the best version of Street Fighter II is 09. Some two-player racing game 10. Some two-player light gun game If I can't have the new combo machines, I'd go with the individual units [Ms. Pac Man (cocktail), Galaga, Pac Man, and Donkey Kong], and drop the racing and light gun games. |
Excluding pinball:
Super Off Road Golden Axe Ms. Pac-Man Raiden Ridge Racer House of the Dead Dig Dug Operation Thunderbolt Elevator Action NARC |

1. Wonderboy in Monster Land (oh wait, I already own this one!)
2. Radiant Silvergun 3. Tower of Druaga 4. Namco Classic Collection vol. 1 5. Namco Classic Collection vol. 2 6. Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper For the record, mine would all be in Japanese style cabinets. They're SOOO much better than American style cabinet. Okay, that's six that I know I would play all the time. I'll have to check some lists later on when I'm at home to see if I can come up with four more that I know would get a lot of play time. |
1. Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga - The wife already knows this is going to happen someday soon.
2. Star Wars - Cockpit version 3. X-Men or TMNT 4-player 4. Smash TV 5. There was this kick ass flight sim I used to play back in HS, but I can't remember the name... 6. Street Fighter 2 7. Mortal Kombat 2 8. Skeeball because it is God's favorite 9. Star Wars OT (or Ep4?) Pinball 10. Pretty much any Sega game: Golden Axe, Afterburner, Galaxy Force, Shinobi, etc... |
X-men
TMNT Simpsons Marvel v Capcom Street Fighter 3rd strike Ms. Pacman That Jurassic Park shooter game I think it was a Cruisin USA/or maybe Outrun driver - some racer game where you could sit down and two great pinball games - now if only I knew two great pinball games. |

Did Super Puzzle Fighter ever have an arcade release? If so then that would be added to my list since it is my favorite puzzle game of all time.

The man has an amazing setup I'm envious of but he scores many dork points for posing like he's hardcore in his last pictures. My top 10 would be:
1) Street Fighter II Hyper Fighting 2) Mortal Kombat II 3) Operation Thunderbolt 4) Rush 'n' Attack 5) Ms. Pac Man 6) Donkey Kong Jr. 7) Yie Ar Kung Fu 8) Metal Slug 3 9) Robotron 2084 10) Double Dragon |

I decided to stick with Japenese cabinets because they have wheels on the back so you need only tilt them to roll them. Built in handles too. Believe me, if I had the room I would LOVE to have a full fledged arcade but I don't :( |

I myself would probably go old school with Space Invaders,Asteroids,Pac Man,Donkey Kong,Qix(i think that was the name?) and one i really loved but dont know the name was a racing one that had two steering wheels,a top down view of each track and was black and white,or grey actually. |

Are you thinking of Super Sprint? That one had 3 steering wheels I think. Or maybe Off Road? I have only had the cocktail for 2 weeks and geezus Ms. Pac Man is TOUGH! I never realized just how much skill this game takes. I can pull off crazy combos and reversals in SF2 but I suck at maneuvering a yellow round lady through a maze! I also have a SF1 dedicated 6 button cabinet but I haven't moved it from my friends house to mine:) |
Home arcade is awesome, but also a drain in electricity :) But I guess if you can afford all that, what's an extra $120/month? :D
If money and room is no object, I would buy these 10 cabs: Daytona 2p sitdown Outrun (Original) sitdown Afterburner 360 (the one that can rotate 360 degrees, only in Japan I think) Time Crisis 3 dual guns Ms Pac-Man tabletop Gauntlet 4p Street Fighter 2 Turbo Robotron 2084 Defender Original Pong (for the awesome shape and historical significance) Those are some of my favorite games that I will never get sick of.... |
