Paranoid Question (360 related)
Is there any possible way that the heat that the 360 gives off could affect DVDs that are in close proximity to the system?
The reason I'm asking is because of the fact that I have my 360 beside my wood entertainment cabinet. It has two drawers that I have filled with DVDs/games, and the bottom vent of the 360 (I have it horizontal) is right beside the bottom drawer, so some of the heat is blown on it. If there's any possibility, I'll probably move everything.

The answer is "Black Sabbath."
Sorry, I saw that title and thought you were asking who wrote Paranoid.
As for your 360, I would probably take it out of any cabinet. Not for your DVDs, but for the 360 itself.

It's actually beside the cabinet, on the floor, with plenty of ventillation. Anyone who has their system inside a drawer of a cabinet is just asking for problems.

Some are concerned with the OP's 360, LOL!
The question is in regard to his DVDs. The hot air blowing out of the 360 will not harm your DVD collection. In fact, some DVD players get so hot internally that after playing a movie you can feel how hot the DVD is once you take it out of the player. Your DVDs should be fine.

Thanks for the replies. I think I got a little too paranoid because I've noticed that it really doesn't get as hot as I thought it did. I just played PGR3 for 3 hours, and it wasn't very hot by the console at all. For some reason, the thought of the heat exhaust having a negative effect on my DVDs bothered the Hell out of my OCD.
