Well, I love my 360.
I was going to buy a PS3, but the only exclusive game I want for it is Formula One. I am not spending $650 for a Formula One game.
I was going to buy a Wii, but Joystiq has pretty much ripped every Wii game at E3. I want to play Zelda. I had it pre-ordered for Gamecube. I don't like the new Metroid games or Smash Brothers. I am not spending $300 for Zelda.
So, there you go. With GTA4 coming to the 360, I really don't see buying the others until a price drop. I would buy a Wii for $150 probably when Zelda and Mario are Greatest Hits titles.
Looking at the upcoming 360 games, I wouldn't have time for anything else anyway.
Must-Buys for 360:
Moto GP 06
NCAA Football 07
Madden
Gears of War
Mass Effect
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Forza 2
Might Buys for 360:
Blue Dragon
Huxley
LOTR: BFME2
Prey
Saint's Row
Viva Pinata
Sopranos
Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway
Too Human
COD3
BioShock
FEAR
Sega Ralley Revo
Look at that list of Games! The 360 is a KILLER system!

For me though the must buys for the 360 are: Gears of War, Mass Effect, Marvel, and Viva Piņata. I'll wait for reviews for Blue Dragon, Coldcept, Enchanted Arms, LOTR, Bioshock, Fear, CoD3, Prey, and Brothers in Arms. This all even discounting the arcade games i'll be picking up here and there. I mean i have several games already but the past two nights i have been playing Uno.

Even the Wii is lower on my list because I really haven't played many GameCube games. A little Luigi's Mansion and Mario Sunshine. Mario Party gets some good game play.
But 360 has been good for me.
My list of games is similar to Duster and Miyu.
Games I will be getting.
Gears of War, Viva Piņata, Enchanted Arms, Ninety Nine Nights.
Will wait on reviews and more info on
Mass Effect, Marvel,Blue Dragon, Coldcept, LOTR, Fear, CoD3, Prey, and Brothers in Arms.
Though I will say that CoD3 and Brothers in Arms both look really nice. Prey and Fear are interesting looking, but I want a demo. Pretty much same with the rest.

I'll end up with all 3. Already have a 360. I'm getting a Wii at launch. When I buy a PS3 will all depend on when games I'm interested in are available. If something like Assasins Creed or GT5 are out at launch, I'll get one at launch.

I have the 360 and that's fine with me. I'm not a hardcore gamer and I only have enough time to play one console, much less three. Hell I probably would've still been playing PSOne if I didn't just HAVE to get GTA3 back in 2001. To be honest if all three of these had come out at the same time I would've probably went with the PS3, but I'm loving the 360 and I have my upcoming game purchases planned and spread out over the next few months to keep me very busy.

Not surprising at all. The Wii won't be for everyone. Many gamers just like FPS, Sports, Racing, GTA and it's clones etc. and they Wii thus isn't going to interest them.

Well I voted 360 only. I don't have the time or money to invest in more than one and the xbox is by far my favorite of the current gen so that is where I will put my money. Plus Halo 3 I will not be able to resist. I am hoping that rumored price drop for the holiday season comes true so I can pick it up.

that means though that 79% or so are getting a wii. compair that to the other 2 systems and where ps3 is around 33.5% give or take and 360 at 58.5%. Things are looking up for the Wii!!

I'll most likely end up with all 3.
I already have a 360 and I'm getting a Wii on launch day even if I have to beat a small child with my 360's power brick.
I'll most likely wait until the PS3 is around $300, and that's if there's games I want by then. I just don't see any game worth $600.

Gamefaqs asked the same question, admittedly from a much broader (and different) fan base.
The Wii had 65%, the PS3 had 44.5% and the 360 had 28.5%.

Not sure yet. I have the 360 now but if the funds are there and if either Nintendo's or Sony's systems impress, I'll by them too.

So according to our poll
45 PS3s will be purchased
78 360s will be purchased
95 Wiis will be purchased
This can't be an accurate depiction of the general public can it?

According to the Gamefaqs results The Bus just posted, I'd say it is pretty accurate.
Looking like everybody and their dog getting a Wii and the masses split on the PS3/360. Gamefaqs draws more RPG fans, so they PS3 is higher there on the promise of FFXIII & co alone. Not to mention the assumption that DQ & KH will remain on the PS platform.

Well, this poll shows a higher % of 360's being sold. The GameFaq's poll has the 360 as the fewest. I think a majority of the people that visit GameFaq's site are Sony and Nintendo biased just like a majority of the people here are Nintendo and Microsoft biased. Either way, both polls show the Wii coming out ahead.

The Wii is coming out ahead as it will be the 2nd system for most people, do to the higher costs of the PS3 and 360 as well as the game overlap on the 2.
People can buy either a 360 or a PS3, and then get a Wii for relatively cheap to compliment their first console with a system that offers a totally different type of games.
360 and Wii is obviously the most cost effective solution since you'll probably be able to get both of them for less than the top tier PS3.

Wii and 360.
Already bought a 360 in February. As much as I would like to get a PS3, it's too expensive and I'm not that interested in any titles they have offered. Maybe one day when it's really cheap. However, the Wii is just in my range and has an assortment of launch titles I'd love to play, not to mention their catalog of old games.
