That might not be a good idea for me, judging from the pics I have on my PC, lol.

I did some experimenting last night with a 2GB USB memory stick. The 360 uses the directory structure on the memory stick to access music and photos. This makes it easy to create playlists by simply organizing the files by folder.

To create slideshows with coordinated photos and music, I created a folder called "Vegas" and simply threw in a bunch of images of Las Vegas and some Rat Pack and UltraLounge music. Go into music and play all the files in the "Vegas" folder, go into photos and play all the files in the "Vegas" folder.

If I knew how much nicer it is to play back music/photos from a USB device instead of using Windows Media Connect, I would've never bothered with WMC. WMC attempts to organize music by ID3 tags. But since the 360 only supports playlists for music that physically resides on the harddrive, there is no way to make playlists for music that is being streamed via WMC (It's a different story with Windows Media Center Edition).

Not true dude you make the playlist on your computer and store it in the location that you stream you music from and the 360 will recognize it. I have many playlists that I created in WMP and I use them all the time while I'm playing games :)

Using Windows Media Connect? I couldn't get any playlists to work using WMC.... using TwonkyMedia, I was able to get playlists.

HELP!!!!

Not in front of my 360, so don't know the exact layout...but:

battery: hit the big silver xbox button in the middle of the controller. The xbox screen slides out from the left side of the screen. Top left corner is a little battery life indicator similar to what you see on some cell phones.

music: same screen, about the middle section of the screen should be some controls that look similar to a VCR or CD player. I think the music source selections are right above that. Hopefully someone will be able to give you more exact instructions, but if not, you should be able to figure it out from there.

Hope that helps.

How much is the license for TwonkyVision?

Thanx Chris

How do I get my mp3 player to play through my 360? It says I'm supposed to be able to just plug it into the USB port in the front, but when I do that it doesn't recognize anything as being there and I can't select it in the Music menu. Anyone???

Thanks...

Edit: It's a Creative Zen Touch, hard-drive (not flash), if that helps...

Depends on the player. If it's an iPod you need to download the optional iPod support from Marketplace (it's free and you don't need Xbox Live Gold to get it).
