Has anyone tried the Datel Media Player for the DS Lite? I has a 4GB hard drive and you are supposed to be able to use it to play music & movies with. I was thinking about possibly picking this up to use kind of like an iPod shuffle.

Mine been acting up recently. When I turn it on it will say no DS game inserted. I have to power it off and take the game in out several times before it will read. This happens with several games too. After it works problem wont come back till a couple of days later. Anyone else experience this.

For anyone still wanting to trade their Fat DS, just saw on CAG that its back up to $71 trade value at Gamecrazy.
And you can get the 12 free rentals and brain age free (see coupon in the DS Lite Deals? thread), if anyone is still looking to get a Lite.

Looks like I'll have to either wait for DS Lite to show up at a Circuit City (all CC's in the greater Houston area are out!!!) or send back to the big N.
I called Nintendo and they said it certainly shouldn't be doing that, at least not as often as it happens to me. For $5 you they will send replacement unit with a return shipping label so you won't miss any gaming. Or, if you don't want to spedn the $5, you can wait for a shipping label, send yours, then wit to get one back.
On the bright side, I went to Gamestop and dowloaded the Magentica demo, no that's just fun!

For those of you that don't really need a case, but want to avoid scratches I had an extra Oakley bag laying around that my sunglasses came with and the DS Lite fits perfectly inside it. I'd imagine that most other sunglass bags would work as well as long as they're the right size.

I've had the "no game cart" issue happen 2 or 3 times to me in the past week with different games, too. I bought the Lite on launch day. My Lite has no dead pixels, and is behaving well otherwise, so I don't think I'm going to exchange it at this point. At least the flaw only occurs BEFORE I start to play.

So, those who got magnetica how is it coming along? I take back what I said about the cost of this game. Well worth it, IMO. There is so much more to it than Zuma could even think to offer.
Training: Beginner - 99 levels ~ 89 on intermediate.
Quest: Level 31 (if you haven't made it this far I just want to say, level 27 will blow you away)
Puzzle: Level 11
The only thing I have a problem with is when the marbles come from the right side of the screen and your marble shooter is on the left side. Makes it real interesting being right handed since my hand isn't transparent.

Well we are covered under warranty and no reciept is needed per Nintendo when I called in since the official release date is 6/11 we are good for the warranty till 6/11/07. Just an FYI in case the problem gets worse.

You can create an account on www.nintendo.com and register your DS by entering the serial number as well. That should further help prevent having any warrantee problems.

For anyone that missed out at Wal-mart and the other couple of stores you can order the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright from Play Asia for $33.50 shipped. It has an english option and the translation is identical to the US version. Just get the case writing and the manual in Japanese.

Ah, whew.. I'm not all that excited over how the black DS Lite looks (probably due to both the clear casing and having owned the graphite black GBA and DS which I think is a far superior coloring). After seeing those pictures I'm quite glad I went ahead and picked up the white DS Lite.

Well, my mew DS Lite is on it's way from Nintendo, should be here Friday. Very friendly and helpful customer service. According to the service rep, any returns right now are being replaced with brand new units since it was just released. But, in the future, you'll likely get a refurbushed unit.
I was gonna wait it out until CC had them back in stock, but it started happening more frequently, so back it goes!!
